Here we go, in my opinion the top 2 teams in the 9th will get it on at Cooper on Wednesday night, December 2nd. Neither team will remotely resemble the February 1st version of themselves, but with that said, I still believe it will be an outstanding game.

Two fantastic coaches, and while Coach Ruthsatz probably has more talent, I don't think anyone better inspires and prepares his team than Sully.

Great elite players on both sides with McNeil and CVH.

Two up and coming sophomores who can score the ball in Kunkel and Fredrick.

Can't wait!!

How much will football affect the quality of this game?

Meaning...how many football players from both teams just now came basketball practice and how effective will they be?

CCH has 2 major contributors.

Cooper has at least 1 starter and 2 more contributors that I can think of.

Place will be LOUD.

I wish I could make it. I really want to see Cooper play.

Great early matchup... Cooper by 1..

Colonels win by 10 but Mcneil gets 35.

The family pedigree runs strong with all the athletes mentioned above. I was going to try to get there for all 3 games on Wednesday, my best friends son in on CCH frosh, but work is going to put me into the 2nd half of the JV game at best.

Kunkel's father had a soft touch from about 10'-12' turnaround, that shot is lost art

in today's game.

We're here...finally. Really looking forward to this one tonight, as well as getting to see a couple of freshmen on the CovCath JV team for the first time.

CCH - 72

Cooper - 59

CCH right now has the better team, better coaches, and the support of the crazies behind them. Think it will be a close game but CCH will pull away a little at the end hitting their late game free throws. I think McNeil will prove tonight why he is the best in the region (IMO). However, Ruthsatz will put together a game plan to ultimately make someone other than McNeil beat them and will pay off. I wish this game was later in the season, but could lead up to an epic rematch in early march if they were to meet again in BB&T Arena.

I guarantee Cooper will have a raucous student section as well. Great environment.

Can't wait to see this game. I'm gonna take Cooper by 1 in a hard nosed battle!

I believe Sean McNeil is the best player in NKY. But Cooper lost too much inside players to end the season #2 in the area. I think they will finish lower. CovCath has all the pieces to make a run at another state title and I think will finish #1 in NKY at the end of the year. Cooper loses tonight cause McNeil, Hendrix and Kunkel are shooters, not inside players. Cooper loses the rebound battle tonight and the score along with it.

Both teams have some good players. However, I give this one to CCH due to superior coaching on the Colonels side. Coach Ruthsatz's may be the best in NKY! I could be wrong but I think he'll have an answer for McNeil and CVH may be a little to quick for Cooper to contain. CCH by 10!
