Yes but it's definitely hard for the players to keep up with. I know of a couple teams who have done this, and it does make it hard for opposing defenses to game plan against.

I have not had the chance to watch Newport play, but Bellevue has not played as well as most thought they would. In order to get their offense going the O line has to get a push. Best of luck to both teams this friday!

They lost Martin last year who in my opinion was there best all around player. Honestly if you contain Blackburn to under 150 rushing yards you will win the game. He will go for over 200 this Friday.

I don't believe that Walton's run game will be nearly as strong as the last few years. With 6'4 clink at WR it will be a big target for the QB but I don't know much about him. Walton has a lot to prove this year, should be an interesting season.

Owen has lost so much scoring. They have Osborne but I have seen him get locked down many times. I honestly believe that this district is a toss up. All of the teams have their own problems.

I watch a lot of 8th region basketball and from what I have seen these are pretty good rankings. I do know that this is the Gallatin team that has had some hype on them for quite a while. I know they beat Anderson County in triple over time and lost a close to one south by 5 I believe. They just need a leader to step up, preferably In their guard Mason Wilson who is a great offensive player. Does anyone know if Penny has stepped up and taken the leadership role in Anderson? The only thing I disagree with is Collins and Shelby being in the top 5 on some rankings.

Any news on the GC team this year? who are they returning? who is playing where? I know that a lot of people are focused on the new hires around the district and Walton after winning the district.

It really hurt The warriors not having kemryn Jenkins out on the floor after fouling out in the 4th. Carlton could not miss in the first half and Wilson scored about every one of his points in the 4th. Tournament time you play to survive and move on to the next one. Gallatin barely pulled it off and they move on to the rebals. Possibly their best match up in the region. Good job and good luck Gallatin should be a great day of basketball on Wednesday!

I disagree with you, they are very inconsistent in the passing game. they did not pass the ball across the line of scrimmage and was sacked 6 times against gallatin and then 2 games later they are throwing the ball all over Lloyd.

I have heard from a trusted source that the newly hired coach just quit the job. This is a huge blow to this team, with only 3 weeks before the season and no coach they have some problems. This team has a lot of talent, but it is hard for any coach to come in with 3 weeks and learn the players, get an offense implemented, and be a successful team. Who is next in line for the Gallatin County team?

I've seen film on him but a point to make is he did not complete one pass across the line of scrimmage against Gallatin County and got sacked 4-5 times. if holy cross can guard the deep ball I see a couple of sacks in their future.

I caught a couple of the owen county games and he is good but in order to be top 10 he has to improve defensively. I saw him get beat on multiple occasions. Great shooter for sure!

The only lost the shooter (beckham) and chris brown. They return Mason Wilson, Jay shrader, Noah McCubbin, Kobe Carlton, and Austin Steurer. They also have depth on the bench. This a dangerous junior class with some senior leadership.
