I saw on their Newport game stat line that the Blackburn kid was 75% of their offense and completed several passes, is he the QB or does he take snaps out of the backfield? Ludlow won this game last year, did they lose anything to graduation?

Ludlow lost most of their receivers and some of their line to graduation. Blackburn is the QB. They run alot of read option and allow him to use his ability to his advantage. He is the key to their offense.

Saw Blackburn last year against Beechwood. Was excited to see the heart of a lion in this young man. Would suspect he was around 5'9" and 160lbs at best. But, he competes with the best of them. BC will not be able to contain him. Running clock by late 3rd quarter. Young Ludlow assistant Coach Ben Wolfe is to be watched. Father played at Virginia and older brother led Male to 6A title last year. Solid football mind that will continue to assist building Ludlow program before some larger program grabs him.

They lost Martin last year who in my opinion was there best all around player. Honestly if you contain Blackburn to under 150 rushing yards you will win the game. He will go for over 200 this Friday.

Ludlow should win.

Ludlow won 26-4 last year. I look for it to be close game

Bracken County believes they have improved a lot this year. This is their first chance to show where they are.

Bracken will be hoping for the return of RB Nick Parker who was voted preseason district POY. It's no secret that the Polar Bears run the ball and Ludlow's DLine looked small. The problem is stoping Ludlow's offensive. Should be a close one
