Gallatin County 79 Williamstown 78

This was a game to watch!!! both teams filling it up from the 3 point line. Would be surprised if it wasn't a record of some sort. GREAT GAME!!!

Let's not act like turnovers didn't lose the game. Sure there were missed calls, and as always there were bad calls, but ultimately it came down to which team was able to overcome adversity.

It was a terrific game to watch, and had the negative energy spent on the refs been repurposed as positive energy directed at the Demons, things may have gone differently.

Beatty led the cats with 16, all in the fourth quarter.

Montgomery scored a game-high 29. He really enjoys playing GC apparently as he averaged 28 in their two meetings, including 7 3pt fgs per game. Lights out shooting.

Wow what a basketball philosopher you are!

You're right, that second paragraph was a little outlandish and basically negated the first so let's try it this way.

The officiating was less than desirable, we can agree on that I'd imagine. That said, there are always things you can do as a player to ensure the stripes play a minimal role in the outcome.

Believe me when I say that I want this team to prosper just like you, but they can't continue to let off the gas when they have a team down by large margins if they wish to do so. I would have thought they learned that lesson when these teams met up in Warsaw and they gave up the 20 point lead.

Chris has to regain that confidence he showed over the holidays when he was averaging 15, Brennan has to continue to be the best point guard in the region, (I'll fight anyone willing to disagree on that point) and Derrick has to make good decisions, especially late in games. If all of these things happen, along with timely shooting from either Jon and Brady, we're talking about a team capable of crashing somebody's party in Henry County, and more importantly, a team that can win games without perfect referees.

I would like to know the total number of 3's hit in this game. It sure seemed like it was a rare instance that either team penetrated far past the 3 point line.

Gallatin was 17-31 from 3's per Khsaa scoreboard Williamstown hasn't updated there scores

Williamstown hit 13. I'm sure they attempted around 30 as per usual.

30 combined threes? wowwwwwww both these teams are not known for that lol. Williamstown has a lot to come in their future s a young team. Better rotation in the 2-3 zone will surely help become a .600 team in my opinion. And limit the turnovers obviously.
