Tennis season is now under way. Anybody follow KY High School Tennis?

I thought everyone did. If not, they should.

I honestly wish KHSAA scoreboard posted results...I was just looking for them earlier today.

Agreed. It's very hard to keep up with teams and players, especially if you don't live in the area.

with the weather and wacky scheduling, it's even harder to keep up. Would love to see a top 10 singles/doubles posting for NKY. Hard to really tell who is doing well and who isn't.

That would be nice.

The top 3 players in NKY would have to be:

Hussey-Cov Cath

Bosch-Cov Cath

Emery-Highlands

Another kid to keep an eye on is McDowell out of Campbell Co. He is a 7th grader who just missed out on qualifying for state last season, and he is easily a top 4 player in the 10th region this year.

im gonna do my best to keep track of some of the region 8 teams this year and post threads.

Tessa Gray of Mason Co should be very competitive this year. Looking for big things from her the next couple years.

Anything new on tennis? Saw a tweet from the SK Athletic department that their JV girls tennis team was 45-5 on the season. That's either a ton of matches or a ton of kids competing.

I'm going out on a limb and say St.X wins!

Regionals for tennis starts this week I believe.

Yes. Cov Cath is hosting the 9th region.

Congratulations St.X Tigers on winning 8 straight state tennis titles!
