All we heard about over here in western KY this year was Henderson...be interresting too see the stats for this hotly contested match up.

Apollo finishes the season 18-13 Looks like Meade Co. may go to Rupp....Upset minded and playing together at the right time.

Owensboro 4 State Titles. At least thats what the signs say in the stadium 1917 1974 1983 1986 not sure tho..

I've said for some time Apollo would win this Region...When playing against an equally talented foe Owensboro has big trouble. any team with size will be able to beat them on a regular basis. The mid season addition from Ohio Co. Seems to have put Apollo over the top

Hater is a pretty strong label...I've never said anything bad about them...I gave my opinion on what I think will happen in the regional tourney..thats all I did...they have had a good season..no doubt..as far as 1997 OHS had lost center Brian Douglas who graduated the year before off the state tourney team..Davenport was the only talent left as far as a Holman/Miller type player. I would like nothing more then to see OHS bring home state title # 5 , believe me..I'm just thinking that it's gonna be an upset year...that's all..

Owensboro has beat the weaker teams they have played, however against teams with any good talent they either lost or barely won. I look for this to be 1997 all over again as far as the regional tourney goes. Owensboro was vastly overrated at seasons start, and didnt beat a top 20 team all year

They have been rolling up wins on weaker teams..this is a decent road win..there probably in trouble at Trinity ...then Hoptown at home, end the season at Henderson. Interested to see how they stack up against some of the states best.

Looks like the Eagles hung in there pretty tough.. Closer than I expected. Another solid win for Henderson County.

Very good possibility they will go 0-4 in those games.

Surprised too see Apollo still unable to put that talent together to upend Owensboro. Sounds like Holman had a good game..will be an interesting 3rd region tourney no doubt.

What about the 1917 championship game..Owensboro 12 Somerset 9..what if a low score happened like that in the tourney, would that change things I wonder, as for me I like the no shot clock...to me it can level the advantage of a running team somewhat. Just my thoughts that if it happens on a big stage that it may cause change.

Very good chance Owensboro is 1-4 in those final five..This seems for Apollo like 1997..beat OHS in regional final..IMO thats a very good possibility. Should be an interesting tourney...

Morrow, Miller and Holman Owensboro Senior' this season

Apollo has the most potential..in my opinion ......Owensboro appears much like 20-2 Webster County..really no real tough opponents that they have beaten ...... as for Apollo..once Trace Young and Eli Wright gel they should be very tough come tourney time...
