Dang. Big time win for Hoptown.

All we heard about over here in western KY this year was Henderson...be interresting too see the stats for this hotly contested match up.

There's no shame losing to Hopkinsville. They came into the season as the region favorite. Henderson beat some really good teams in Lexington and beat Hoptown at Hoptown by two. Hoptown is a real threat to win state.

No way Henderson rankings were off. They played a pretty difficult schedule and went from unranked to as high as number 2 after winning the December tourny. They went TO hoptown and ended their 55 game region win streak. They were good and Simmons showed why he is being considered for Mr. Basketball.

 

Hoptown falling to the bottom of the top 20 is probably more off than Hendo in the top 5

Were the rankings off on Hendo or are the rankings off on teams from the rest of the state that are ranked above Hoptown??? My guess is the later of the two.... Bowling Green, Hoptown, Owensboro, and Graves/Murray will represent the Western part of the State well in the State Tourney.... I just hope the rankings next year will be a better reflection of the talented teams around the "Entire State" and not just the areas where the people ranking the teams live...
