Thoughts?

Henderson by 10...dangerous team.

I'd love to be able to see this game. I expect it to be a dandy, with no love loss between the two teams.

I'll take Henderson County 71-70 in OT.

I thought Hoptown played Trigg in the semi-final and the finals would be where Henderson and Hoptown meet? But if this is the semi-final match-up, I am going with Hoptown in a nail biter.

This is a very tough game for me to call. Hoptown has played much better after the Trinity blowout, but Henderson already beat the Tigers in Hoptown ending their 55 game region streak. I think Henderson should win this game, my only thoughts are if Henderson already peaked in this year in December, and is Hoptown just now beginning to peak? This is the Region 2 championship game.

I'll say Henderson by 3.

They had to rearrange the original first round brackets...after the snow delays...so that both of Henderson's teams wouldn't be playing at the same time. They left the original match-ups intact.

In the 1930's and '40's, it was common for the first game winner...each of the first two nights...to play one another in the semi-finals. I never read any reasoning for that, but the practice changed over the years.

I agree 100% no love will lost between them, it will be a battle! I watched the first matchup between them, Hayworth really didn't find a lineup that he felt worked the best until the 4th quarter when hoptown pulled back and almost won. Im going with Hoptown this time. Hoptown 72, Henderson 68.

I also feel stopping Simmons isn't the key to beat Henderson. If a team stops the three point onslaught they put on and make those shooters feel uncomfortable Henderson will be vulnerable because Simmons wont be able to do it by himself against Hoptown, but if they are hitting from outside the night will be Henderson's.

Matlock leads Hoptown. 73-65.

Does anyone know if there is a site to stream from? I know Henderson games were streamed during a tournament earlier in the year.

WHOP normally carries Hoptown games. Home

Hopkinsville is done. Henderson by double digits.

14-10 Hoptown midway through the 2nd. David Simmons is on the bench with 2 fouls.

Hopkinsville leads 23-20 at halftime. The Tigers are out playing the Colonels. David Simmons and Bryce Crowley both have 2 fouls.
