I dont care too much. I would much rather see them take on an even tougher schedule. Add Male, Trinity(wont happen), McCalie again, etc.... I want to see them take the program's reputation higher than just 5A powerhouses.

Very good post! Great to see Purples at #1 however I would prefer them to be there without question or needing the help of SW injuries. That says alot about SW! BG/Warren County holding down the top. It's beautiful.

This is fun. Like I said, great rivalry is brewing. Hopefully it will be a FAT gate everytime so the kids can enjoy it as much as we will, having an insane environment.

Let them. Running up the middle time and time again against us only does so much. They are not going to get the benefit of two special team td returns, 3 fumbles, and an interception like X did.

No way anyone could have said it better Purple88! And one BIG positive we need to continuing building on and that is no fumbles last game! People keep talking about BG possibly being down this year, however I think they are more in a learning curve. A little young and inexperienced but tons of talent. This good sirs is what the regular season and practice is for. Come November we will see if they match all that talent with discipline, gameplan, and execution. My bet is they will.

BG is NOT playoff ready. No sir not at all. Much better ball discipline this week but offense is still too inconsistent. I believe they will develop into a playoff ready squad but not quite there yet. I am however pleased with the slow but steady improvements. It shows the kids are listening to thir proven staff and want to win.

I HATE your choice for #1 , however I must concede that at this time they belong there but I hope those Purples give reason to end the season out up there!!! Still leaves me irritated until then though.

Ahh...I see where you are going. That does make more sense, and I agree that schedule does not crown the champion. However, as DF said what then do we use to rank teams until the Championship game is played?

What a beautiful sight that crowd would be. I like that it is being put off, builds the anticipation. I just hope it doesn't happen and it be a down year for one of the teams. Boy would that suck after all the exciting build up. This needs to be a clash of the titans type event and that sirs is what I am crossing my fingers for!
