Am I the only one who really doesn't care for this schedule? I liked the weekly challenges the past few seasons have offered....Even if it was a loss the kids learned from it and the games were competitive.....Maybe I just got spoiled.....

Big difference in the four-team super district and a five-team eastern Jefferson county district.

Nothing can be done about it. But I agree good competition creates toughness for playoffs

Trinity cant control who their district opponents are. And the fans may have enjoyed it, but I cant imagine the staff enjoyed playing Moeller the week before the playoffs started.

I agree with not playing Big Moe right before the playoffs, and I'm not saying they can control their district opponents , I just enjoyed the games more when they are not having a running clock by the 2nd quarter. ..

Honestly, I agree. Everyone hated the super district because it forced the best Louisville teams to play early in the play-offs, but with the new tournament structure we have the same problem even with separate districts. We may as well have the super district back since we play St. X and Male either way, and it would free up more games to schedule.

 

I'm glad to see more Kentucky teams on the schedule, but I'd rather we had teams like Manual or Scott County than J-town and Eastern. Plus, as a purely selfish desire I'd like one or two games with Cincinnati teams. I love it when my Rocks come up here to play. I don't have to travel far, and win or lose it's always a great game.

Only games we could have changed were Lafayette (loaded with D1 talent) and PRP.

 

Could have made an attempt to replace both games/teams with Moe and Cincy St X or Colerain. The Rocks and Colerain need a tie breaker game.

Not that they cant compete, but other teams are scheduling lesser opponents and resting guys when possible week 10. Cant do that playing Moeller and you risk an i jury right before playoffs.

Lol.....I knew there would be one hater in the crowd.....Male has a great team....Im sure all the T fans have said it in other posts as well....that was a reason why I liked our past schedule.....I feel this new schedule isn't helping as much since the first team is usually off the field.... i think the past schedules just helped them continue to beat Male when it really counted for something like 10 state championship ....see what I did there.....

Didn't you predict T would Beat Male? Forget about it...not worth the time....

I credit both Male and T for having the guts to continue playing even when out of district.

 

I don't remember Male and T playing in the regularly in-season before the Super District.
