Is Sammons in trouble At Raceland? I know he had good year last year with TJ Maynard's players and you can't judge off one game but you got beat by a below average fairview team. Fairview defense isn't very good and only managed 22 points and several key little league coaching errors in the game. I doubt they will do anything since he's a ram and played there but just curious if this continues what may happen.

Fairview will lose next 2 games because defense wins championships and they have none. Offense sells tickets however so people enjoy Roy and Washington as they should. I think Eagles finish 6 6 this year lose next 2 and win against Lewis county. I believe they will win a playoff game then get beat in 2nd round. With what I've seen coming up thru the system they might not see 6 wins again in a season for a very long time.

Fairview should win this game but they better enjoy this one because raceland and paintsville be tough ones. The fans better enjoy Alex and Antwan because after that it gets very bad. I've seen the lower levels and it's not in good shape. Normally that's bad news for a HS program we shall see. Good luck to both teams

As I've stated before raceland is slow they have no speed. They will go far in playoffs because single A is watered down but not sure they can beat paintsville. Good luck rest of way

Bath county is awful, congrats to Fairview but Lewis and Bath are two very bad football teams.

Boyd county gave Fairview some problems in scrimmage and Boyd dressed 21 players. Roy and Washington only things that they have and Alex running for his life most of the time. After this year fairview be way down for foreseeable future.

Rowan is terrible Russell is ok not belfry good

JC will be dominate compared to every other team in Eastern Kentucky. Its men against boys with those guys versus the rest of Eastern Kentucky other than Belfry. The rest of the teams are okay, Raceland will have a good run because single A is watered down and even worse than it was last couple of seasons. The rankings looks pretty good to me, best of luck to all the teams.

Great numbers for Russell too bad Belfry is around, also I believe Fairview dressed over 70 couple years ago. Great numbers for Raceland as well, to be honest I was surprised TJ left to go back to Russell. Single A is a watered down class and now with Mayfield in 2A could open door for Raceland to win one IMO.

I understand what your saying but like the beloved coach cal said about his being vacated it's not like we didn't do it. So while on record book yes, it still was a great run for the little single A school

Mad eagle one thing I will add is ill predict football is dropped within 5 years because lack of numbers. I also predict one of Cookseys be the coach next season. They will be awful and will continue to fall which is sad from the state championship run.

Is former fairview principal Garry McPeek at Lafayette? Buddy of mine said he thought he saw Garry coaching there.

7 on 7 is overrated doesn't have any football transition to games. It's good conditioning but qb not worried about pressure and Wideouts not worried about getting hit over the middle especially. I've seen teams look good in 7 on 7 and not win any games during the season.

Line play is always a key

I know this simply saying they will pull the trigger based on performance surely you have enough common sense to know what I meant.

Ashland can have good year but can't compete with JC in the pits. Line play is the difference, and I don't see Tony Love being at Ashland long term as HC Imo. Already have fired basketball and baseball guys.

Russell has been and always will be a program. Reguardless of the head coach or administration they will win games. Coach McGlone set that standard and is Russell football. I think it will be awhile before they can beat belfry or for that matter win a state championship. Let's face it the Ashland area isn't flourishing and population is declining. Honestly in the grand scheme of things who gives a flip. Obviously you guys do and eats at you especially the very few ram and eagle posters on this site. Nobody honestly cares outside of this area, when I read the article and audit I read it as hey get new rules implemented and don't do this again. To be honest person that got worse in of the deal is the guy that had the least amount to do with it. Garry McPeek got offered 3 great jobs right in a row and Musick retires moves to Florida. Nate McPeek is young and will recover I'm sure but at the end of the day he gives up more than anyone else. Let's move on people and may all parties involved be well.
