  1. 1. Who will win?

The Eagles have an outstanding QB in Alex Roy and are just a couple years removed from a title game appearance. Is this the year Fairview returns to Bowling Green? Bath County has struggled the past couple years after posting 8 wins in 2012. Is this the year they return to the winning side of the ledger? What do they need to do to get an opening win over the favored small school?

What does Fairview have, outside of Roy and Washington? Their defensive line play was atrocious last year, has that improved? The running game was nonexistent last year, has that improved? Who's stepping up to fill Blake Smith's shoes?

Fairview will win big. IMO, the will be much better this year than some suspect.

I certainly agree. Our district (Raceland, Paintsville, Fairview) has all three teams ranked in the top 8 in 1A. Most are counting Westwood out but if they can find any defense at all then they have a shot at any opponent they will play.

Anyway, if anyone takes the Eagles lightly this season then they will go home with an ;L.

That school in westwood imo will win this one handily ....43-15

I haven't any idea what the total of those penalties were in the last couple of seasons but it sure seemed like they collected a lot of them.

Anyway, Eagles will imo win this one handily ....

Fview 43

Bath 16

IMO they're not on Raceland or Paintsville's level, but I do believe they will be better than most expect.
