  1. Congrats to Paintsville on the win, the Tigers deserved the Win and good luck the rest of the way.
  2. Geez #2, aren't you over anything yet. I know that you were a huge supporter of the McPeeks at Fairview but why are you using a Raceland thread and question about their coach to add in you cheap insults to Fairview because the Coaches at Fairview were right in with Musik on everything that happened here. Everyone knows it and it seems all but you are trying to get past it. We obviously had one heck of a ball game until this cheap shot at both schools.
  3. Again, apology from this alum that had nothing to do with it. This community is trying to overcome the last several seasons and then there is T. Hobbs .... just another one of the "good ol' boys" clowns out here. What a joke, Hobbs is a legend in his own mind. I doubt if he could spell class, let alone have any. I don't guess all of the "stuff" from the Musik, McPeek (both of them) embarrassment has been cleaned out yet.
  4. Thank you oldrambler, your post of congrats along with other Ram fans are why your program is class, top notch.
  5. Just my luck ! I was out of town for a week and the Eagles beat the Rams. Wow, maybe this is one of the last few wins over these guys that I can be happy or proud about ! All but one of the Hunt/Ashland TTA recruits are gone I believe. Way to go Eagles ! One thing that I would like to remind all the Fairview fans about is this, yes it was great to beat our rival but before you go talking it too much (other than a day or so) I would look at the overall series / games W-L record with the Rams and not talk too much. Have fun, celebrate this one but come Monday, it's time to move on. Hell, I even had to jab a little with a couple of friends from Raceland. Good Luck to the Rams this week and the rest of the season, you guys are a class act. Raceland has a great program that we would like to have along with good people, fans there.
  6. As I said, you're right. I have no trouble reading or speaking the truth, as a matter of fact, others and myself doing just that has stirred a few feathers in the past out here.
  7. Assassin, that's a nice way of saying that our defense is terrible. LOL, I might get mad if you didn't have a point. This Eagle team is a little better on defense than last season but not much at all imo. Farview is going to have to outscore people with huge scores and numbers to get a win and one good thing is that at times that can and will happen. When clicking this offense can outscore, beat practically anyone. Congrats to the Eagles, you guys are really going to have to play by far your best this coming Friday.
  8. Fairview's QB is the offense. He is excellent and I hope that the Eagles can pull it off but at Lexington I honestly don't believe we can.
  9. Not really. Hey, I am one out here (Westwood / Fairview) that doesn't hate Raceland. I really admire your program and how it was built. I just haven't seen that killer instinct that previous Raceland teams have played with. Greenup plays hungry and confident. Raceland at times didn't seem to care. That's all I was saying. Good luck to both teams. I'll say GC - 28 / Raceland 12
  10. Watched this Raceland team vs. Ashland and they aren't physical, don't play as hard as I have seen past Raceland teams. Raceland teams that I am used to watching and competing against would get you down and wouldn't let you up for air. This team doesn't play hard at all. GCHS will win easily.
  11. Although I believe that it's a long shot if any, I wish my Raceland friends made on here but still rivals good luck tonight. When playing the bigger schools I always pull for the little school.
  12. I won't comment any further on this but I know if I were in any administration or coach at Ashland and knew about the Baker kid showing his butt and in the condition he looked to be in at Fairview's game last week then he wouldn't be playing Friday night. Should that statement be wrong to post then I guess that it may cost me on bgp but that doesn't change what it appeared to be last Friday. That's all I will say about it.
  13. Although Raceland may be pretty decent by season's end they don't have the 1. speed 2. (and for the first time) Desire / never quit mentality and 3. Overall talent that Ashland has. What Raceland does have over Ashland is coaching. A no comparison better head coach and staff than Ashland. With comparable teams, talent the coaching would put the Rams in the win coumn but as the old saying goes ... coaches don't play and Ashland has more playmakers than Raceland. Should I be correct about Raceland's desire, not playing as hard and with no emotion as in years past then this one could get real ugly for the Rams. Ashland wins going away with a running clock ...
  14. Only problem with that is that although the Tomcats will be very good, they do not have the total talent that that team had. More so, Ashland doesn't even begin to match the coaching that Ashland had. I mean, not remotely close. The current Tomcat coach and staff probably are not even comparable to the coaches that were at Putnam and Coles Jr. highs.
