That's the PA guy doing that? And how do we know? Are there assistant coaches in there as well? Whoever it is, he was laying into the ref.

Well.....hate to say it but dang! What's up with Westwood?

I think it's safe to say the official, Brian Taylor, knows what he's doing on a football field.

It's a phony!!!! Optical illusion they said!

Nothing that bad but at an away game this year the announcer was yelling out the box for students to gather under him in the stands, they sat in a different section anyway. Then he was goin over his script with about 3 buddies egging him on with what he was going to say when they scored (they didn't), every home first down (they got 4 total one was by penalty), and every long play (held them to net 13 yards). He kept yelling out of the box, was annoying, he didn't yell over the PA, but did get a few of his movie lines worked into the commentary. I am usually all for movie lines but time and place.

Luckily at Fern Creek we have a crew of guys that do PA and clock and spot and they all have done it for years and stay pretty professional. They do the drawn out Tigers first down or touchdown but that's about it.

Can anyone answer this?

If that's going on the loud speaker in the stadium then this HAS to be embarrassing to these kids.

It's not really been established that this is the case. Could've been anybody in or around the press box and they got picked up by the radio guy's mic.

It sounds like the PA guy at Fairview. That is the best answer I can give. Yes, there are other people yelling in the background, probably the assistant coaches. The Fairview assistant coaches sit beside the PA guy and the clock operator in the presbox. There are no windows in the Fairview press box and it is normal to hear the guys up there screaming. The visitor coaches and film guy are one level below the PA guy and sometimes it's difficult to hear anything over those people yelling.

That's pretty bad if it is the PA guy doing that over the loudspeaker.

Is this the Fairview PA guy? I'm embarrassed for him.

The way the press box is configured is a three story structure independent of the stands. First floor is storage, second floor is visitor coaches and camera guy, third story is PA, timekeeper, Fairview coaches and radio guys.
