They don't have the best track record of keeping things clean lately so hopefully they do something right

not a PA but the play by play guys for the Plano East vs. John Tyler, Texas State Championship game back in 1994 were awesome. They were definitely Plano East guys & the last 20 seconds or so is downright hilarious.

 

Also, if you haven't seen this before, PE was down 41-17 with 3 minutes to go in the game & comes back to take the lead and then........................................

I wouldn't call the man's name out if I knew it, and I absolutely do not. I do have to wonder though, if he was a former radio guy for the school in Westwood years ago. :idunno:

Brian was a replacement official in the NFL last year. He also does some college games, and has done local high school games for years. He is a high quality official and person.

LRCW and GF - You are right. I just didn't know if their PA guy was the one that I was thinking of. The other one that worked with him is now passed away so if this crew was the "idiot in the box" then that certainly narrows it down. :sneaky:

I was told that Tom Hobbs is the PA man at Fairview. I was also told that Brian Taylor wasn't flagging the PA man in the video, that he didn't even hear what was going on over the PA, but that he had flagged a Fairview player for unsportsmanlike after the play. The KHSAA has also contacted Fairview about the incident with the PA man. For the record Brian has Fairview again this week again Raceland.
