I don't know about upset of the year now. It is an upset but I'm not sure about the "year". We all know Fairview is good. We all know Raceland is good, but this was Raceland over looking the Eagles.

 

Raceland did a pouch/onside kick with 50 seconds left. Not sure why. Not a good decision.

First of All ... Conrats and a tip of my Ram cap to the Fairview kids ! Fairiew DESERVED to win. Raceland came in flat, were severely out played, out DESIRED. Fairview wanted ths more than Raceland. ... period ! Even when Raeland roared back, took a lead very late, Fairview came back, made the plays and got it done.

In my experience, a pooch kick with a late lead means you're worried about speed/skill of the deep return man. A defensive/conservative play call for sure.

Turns out to be an onside, told from other sources. Only kicked to Fairview's own 45. I don't agree with that call. I say you pouch it down to the 25/20 on the ground.
