My experience with tiebreakers for district seeding came last year, so the rules may have changed. Last year, the teams you beat were given points for the rest of the wins they accumulate throughout the season. Those are compared to the teams the other schools in the tie breaker situation beat and their cumulative points.

 

Bottom line, the advantage goes to your strength of schedule and if you beat a few teams that rack up a bunch of wins the rest of the season.

Turns out to be an onside, told from other sources. Only kicked to Fairview's own 45. I don't agree with that call. I say you pouch it down to the 25/20 on the ground.

Very true. If they do request a re-kick I would not try an onside kick. But that's me. The Raceland Coach knows a whole lot more about football than I do.. He made the call and I respect his play calling ability. A game like this just might help Raceland more than it will hurt. No wants to loose like that.
