I'm hearing Mcpeeks name associated with many of the open jobs. Does he want to leave Georgia?

It's all about players (Jimmy's and Joes) you look at someone like Russ Prospt who got into all kinds of trouble he is not going to coach at a school with no players. He is a great coach yes but he isn't going to coach no talent. Coaches will always tell you it's about having players. I agree some coaches are better at using that talent and getting kids to play hard but heck Nick Saban couldn't win at some of these high schools.

You must not be married then lol because Human beings make mistakes and many others have been placed in leadership roles after mistakes no offense but good thing your not in position of leadership, we all would be in trouble as human beings.lol

But anyway we can all agree to disagree hope Bell hires great man and coach. Good luck and merry Christmas everyone

Everyone is entitled to opinions but I stand by my comments that it's ashame such a good coach/person isn't in a Kentucky system because this state is hurting for good coaches that care about kids. If you ask most Fairview people I bet they wouldn't say much bad about McPeek as a person maybe he had too much of winning attitude and overlooked things yes but can't deny it. Bobby P is back at Louisville so everyone has 2nd chance opportunities IMO

Been 2 years how long you gonna make a guy wait? Obviously with the charges that were brought up with the superintendent at Fairview it's gotta help in many ways.

Not sure if they can afford him but I'm friends with his father and he tells me he's looking closer to home because wife isn't happy in Georgia. Not sure that scuttle lol hope to see him back in state on a selfish level.

You may be right but America is all about second, and third chances. It's been over 2 years and to be honest from my point of view it was more about others than it was him. Sure he was the head coach and I'm sure he has learned some valuable lessons which is trusting others. Anyway just my opinion like to see a talent like he has back in the state of Kentucky we need good young football coaches.

I agree about Jaggers or I think Bell should give Nathan McPeek a call he is coaching at a 6a school in Georgia. He has paid his dues for the Fairview crap and he is a great football coach IMO.

Will be interesting to see who gets interviews for this job. I'm sure some good football players at Bell but eastern Kentucky has taken a hit with the coal business suffering the way it is. What about the administration at Bell? Do they support coaches? Do they help with facilities? Money?

:laugh: Relax man I believe I hit a nerve, simply saying it isn't as good as you make it out to be. As far as the Fairview stuff goes yes I did say some of those things but I'm just happy the good people in that deal that got crushed are better off and Musick got what he deserved in the end. I saw him at the Raceland/Fairview game and he looked absolutely awful. Good luck to the Rams this week as I truly wish everyone luck.

Looks average to me and Russell will try to score as many as they can.

Number one I'm not a huge fairview fan and number two this isn't about that. It's about your orange seeing glasses and noticing that your program isn't as solid as you and other believe. Seriously what have you done at Raceland to make it special? That's a serious question and any answers would be appreciated.

Guys relax just need to understand Raceland isn't very good this season. Paintsville has a very solid team but single A is weak and no way this paintsville team better than several previous 1a powers in the state. I know Raceland has a good program but in all reality what have you truly done? Can't believe all you diehard ram fans at least won't admit it's been a disappointing year by the players and coaches. Tigers are solid but come on guys Raceland isn't a very good team.

Raceland is a solid program nothing outstanding like most eastern Kentucky programs. Area will be crushed even more with the coal and steel industries suffering worldwide. This place will be a ghost town.

The thing I've said all year watching Raceland is they have no speed, and when they play against teams with some athletes could spell trouble. Single A is very weak and the state champion will be weak because even Beechwood isn't what they used to be as a program. KHSAA sure has watered down the masses in the football alignment in my opinion.

Totally agree with you. Raceland has a fine program and some great people living in the area. I must say that people on preps for the Rams take it way to seriously and make it personal from many different angles. This is social media and I understand that we communicate thru it but I just feel many use it as a cowardly approach to say things. I would estimate almost 99% of the people that say negative things about players,coaches, fans, schools, etc. wouldn't say it face to face. I wish the Rams the best of luck in trying to figure out this season.
