As anyone can tell by the score, not much to report other than Paintsville has one helluva football team and imo, barring any key injuries will be the KY 1A State Champions.

Raceland just needs to burn this tape, pull themselves back up and get ready for Russell, the Mythical Greenup Co. Championship.

Hard for me to not consider Paintsville #1 at this point. Beechwood is very good, but Paintsville is destroying everyone they play, including really good teams.

Paintsville is my frontrunner for the Title. I dont even think Pikeville can hang with them after making their QB change.

Pikeville has improved but so has Paintsville.

I dont think we (Raceland) have been that whipped on a football field since LCA moved up to 2A. That Paintsville team is better than any east 1A team I have seen since LCA last won the 1A title. Phelps is impressive, he isnt Baker, but Paintsville has a really nice player in Trimble and Morris as well. Imo, had they'd used last years backfield the way they used this years, Paintsville would have knocked Raceland off in the Reg Finals last year. But that was then, this is now, Paintsville is king of the district this year and its time for the Rams to focus on Russell and try to munster up whatever they have left to make a "Tiger Turnaround" for the playoffs, like Paintsville did last year.

Dang. I guess I have to believe in Painstville now.

 

 

Where will Raceland play at now first round?

Bishop Brossart and if our emotional snd confidence level stays where it is, we wont win a playoff game. Hopefully we can regroup, get a win on the road at Russell, and have some momentum going into the playoffs. The Paintsville team I saw tonight is far and away better than the two Williamsburg teams that knocked us out of going the BG the two previous years. Paintsville may be the best team in Johnson County.

Tigers are solid but come on guys Raceland isn't a very good team.

What a disappointment for Ram fans. It looks like a three-team race to me - Beechwood, Paintsville, Pikeville. Maybe Russellville as a dark horse contender.
