That's what I'm saying. I really don't think the NFL has any bearing on where he goes. If you can play, you can play and scouts will find you. Look at Joique Bell and Danny Woodhead. The only way I can think the NFL has any bearing on his decision is if he'd rather play in the SEC than B1G and play against better competition.

I agree. Let bygons be bygons. These kids get four years of high school sports and then it's gone forever. Lewis County had a similar situation this year with a football player that transferred in from West Carter after his parents divorced. WCHS "mistakenly" took too long to send information back to the KHSAA and the kid did not get ruled eligible until Nov. 1st, a couple days after football season concluded for Lewis. He is on the basketball team but does not get to play much. I really think he's playing basketball just because he had his final season of football taken from him.

Wes made it as a kicker simply because he actually made a field goal in a game! :lol: That was one position I was really struggling with. That #44 you speak of may make someone else's list, but not mine.

I look for Coach Hampton to get the Lions back on the winning track at home in this one. In order for us to win though, some of our offensive "stars" are going to have to put forth maximum effort to D up Austin Crawford or the sophomore could go for 40. Lions win 62-58.

Lewis County had Taylor Frye, Emily Frye, and Savannah Anderson on the team at once. Anderson and E. Frye are seniors and T. Frye graduated in '13. Jaycey Fite also has a chance to enter the 1000 point club by the time she graduates and she is just a junior and was also a member of the varsity squad when T. Frye played.

I'm going to replace Laithon Davis at linebacker with Caleb Enix ('10). I would put Laithon (RB/LB) in that group that wouldn't start but get plenty of PT. As would Jack Bane (LB/DB; '11), Codi "Beaver" Lewis (FB/DL; '10), Cory Christy (RB/LB; '13), Tylier McAdams (OL; '11), Nathan Clark (RB/LB; '08), and Austin Egbert (DB/LB; '15)

2011 Lewis County at Russell

His highlight films literally look like a man out there running against kids in middle school. He is in a different world than 99% of high school football players in KY, you just don't see a back with his skill set everyday in this state. It's been 20 years since we seen one similar and may be another 20 before we see another one like him.
