  1. I love that "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" chant.
  2. Maybe your numbers apply to Ryle, but how do you explain Male? Every year Male seems to have better athletes than T with half as many boys. Male losing to T this year was not due to a lack of athletes but rather a lapse in coaching. Ryle's loss to Trinity in the final had a lot more to do with scheme than athletes, hence coaching.
  3. Its hard to fault Sosa after that effort, but that last shot was pure freshman. Great season Cards, good luck next season.
  4. Kept X in it? Are you saying that the refs called it X's way?
  5. I just wonder why yet another coach doesn't tell his team to foul up by three? No Oden to get the rebound off the intentional miss. I just don't get it???
  6. No dog in this fight, but I sure am pulling for Xavier to upset the Buckeyes. Great game.
  7. I think he faked Scheyer (#30) out of his socks on that last bucket.
  8. Isn't the new head coach at VCU a Billy Donovan assistant? Donovan is starting to crank them out the way Pitino did.
  9. It turns out that you were correct RP. I just talked to a friend that attended the game and said it was like "Freedom Hall East". I think Jurich should consider playing a home game every year at Rupp. I'd make sure they removed any banners etc. for the game. :thumb:
  10. My comment was directed more at UK vs. UF.
  11. Why waste our time with smart-alec comments. How about you defend your case. The fact is that Billy and Tubby are peers and friends. Billy isn't going to bash Tubby and vice versa. However, unless Billy has decided he wants to be the coach at UK supporting Tubby is in UF's best interest at this point. Billy knows that if it comes down to the Gators and the Cats with a star recruit he will most likely win the battle. It wasn't always that way.
  12. The same thing could be titled... Mr. Bama football fan....or.... Mr. Irish football fan.... etc.
  13. Why the sarcastic "wow:rolleyes: "? Do you doubt the kid has talent?
  14. I didn't say anything about "fine and dandy". I just pointed out a fact. BTW, I think Paintsville won it all in 96', hardly ancient history.
  15. Trinity doesn't have more than 99 varsity players but they do issue a few duplicate numbers. It works out OK as long as one kid is on offense and the other is on defense. This situation caused some confusion on this board last year. Some folks reported one of the Duttons (#2) playing safety for the Rocks. It turned out to be a duplicate number.
  16. As to #3, Paintsville has won a state title in basketball. Trinity hasn't.
  17. You know as well as I do, in D1 sports there is a third option. In that event, the case would just be beginning to open. Seems pretty funny to me that none of the usual "in the know" posters are coming forward with any details.
  18. We shall see. I'm betting that it never happens.
  19. No, I don't know something you don't. However I'm asking if anyone does know. There have been conflicting theories on this thread. Some have even assumed that Pulley is still on scholarship. I'm not saying its a big deal, I'm just asking what's the deal?
  20. How many rows of seats are on the visitor side? It looks like four to me but I could be wrong. If it is four rows by 100 yards thats 1,200 feet of seating space. If you figure on 24 inches per seat, it works out to about 600 guests. Could this be correct? Also, a lot of new stadiums that I have visited with tracks have a fence on the outside of the track in the endzone areas (Henry Clay and I think Male are like this). Is X going to have the fence on the inside of the track between the track and the field like Manual Stadium?
  21. I really hope Arizona doesn't knock off the Gators. I usually enjoy all the "can you believe what Noah did?" threads and am looking forward to a couple of more weeks of them.
  22. So no presumption of innocence exists in "your America"? No one was charged, no one was found guilty of the original crime. I'd say that is pretty good evidence that no crime was commited. I guess maybe we should reserve the right to lock people up on these same "feelings". I sure hope you don't have anything to do with the legal profession. I think you are speaking of one juror in particular. That same juror has raised such a cloud over these proceedings he has single-handedly awarded Libby an appeal. Look up the law that you think was violated before posting further. Its very narrow and was not violated by anyone.
  23. I think based on the history of college sports it is a fair question. As you can see by the thread some think that he is still on scholarship. Do you know? Or are you just trying to cloud the issue? Is his family paying for him to live in Lexington and work out for the next six months?
  24. Well, at least the seed was correct.:sssh:
