Kaelin Ammons...........:thumb:

Trevor Hoskins from Middlesboro. (6' 4", 190)

Hoskins and Keith Tandy are the only QB's from KY that I know of to commit to D1 Colleges so far, and I'm not sure WVa plans to use Tandy at QB.

Don't have his #'s, but he did very well considering the Jackets run the Veer. Finished top ten in the Atlanta Elite Eleven. His height gives him the nod over Petrino, Ammons, & Tandy as a College QB, and I think he has a far better arm then the other 3 (yes, I've seen them all).

This argument is sort of like comparing Tom Brady to Peyton Manning. Kaelin was probably the better QB as far as stats go, but Nick Petrino is the Brady of Kentucky High School football because he wins championships. I think Tyler Hancock from Lexington Catholic should be mentioned in the top 3 or 4. He had a great season and had to fill some big shoes to fill.

Nick Petrino.

2nd ring in a row

Kaelin Ammons is the best this year. No one asked what QB won the ring. Kaelin had more yds, passing and running than than all of them over his career, and probaly this season. The two who got d1 offers already got them because they are taller than petrino and ammons not beacause they are better.

Did Kaelin have 4 intereceptions in 261 attempts this year? I doubt that he is better than Petrino.

Nick led his team back to victory after being down 11 pts to the #3 ranked team in the nation (according to one poll). Did I mention this was in the last 5-6 minutes of the game on Male's home field?

I heard Ammons and Petrino may end up at Georgetown College together. If that happens, we will see who the better is because that QB will be starting.

Just to be fair, the difference is Ammons could make an impact at multiple positions, including QB, where as Nick would be very limited as to the positions he could impact at that level.

Am I the only one who thinks that four interceptions in 261 attempts is one of the most impressive things that they have ever heard of?
