Not sure that big of an upset, Shelton pitched his ace, he knew it would be a tight game Union won 20 games this year and Coach Robison has won 2 titles in the past 5 years. Jacob Tapp, winning pitcher tonight one of the best in the region, Bo Robison best fielding center fielder in the region and maybe best in the state made 2 outstanding catches tonight, Trey Hutchinson one of best sophomores in the state and several seniors who all contributed tonight. Maybe a mild upset but according to two coaches I talked to tonight, really not that surprising, it's baseball.

Anyone that follows basketball in the 2nd is not shocked by transfers in the 8th. It's common place, been going on for years. If Ware goes, look for Sebree to do something and maybe the Hollowells from UHA and my josh the jockeying for UHA's Tandy started before the season was even over. Should be an interesting summer in Hoptown.

Jaci Babbs, UC sophomore already committed to the Cats, WOW. Been told she's one heck of a player. Her recuitment will probably open back up as she progresses unless her travel team coaches and sponsors are tied to UK.

Any victory is a good win but Webster one of worse teams in the West. Webster is 2-12 for the year with only wins against Union County who is 5-10 on the season and Fort Campbell which is winless at 0-8.

Mudd has been the E-town coach for 22 years so I'm sure all are familiar with his style and methods but still risky in today's society.

I agree - in a 112-107 double overtime loss to Union County late in the season Tandy had 41 and Hollowell had 30 and still loss - the Robison kid from Union had 49 in that game.

Next question for the 8th, where does Tandy play next year?

No doubt - Sebree was the man the first half, Ware the second and of course Edwards both halves - this is a very good basketball team.

Transfers are fairly common in sports but in basketball the 8th district is either the king of the hill or right at the top.

This was one heck of a game. Two very talented ball clubs, CC just better last night and this year. Too much speed and quickness for most teams in the state. Have not seen any teams outside of the Western Ky. area but don't see how you could be much better than Christian County. Will see at state. City of Hopkinsville a reservoir of talented players and easy to see why they dominate the region year in and year out. Half of the all region team from the area. Wish the Colonels the best at state.

A 3 team district with a big school and two small schools with no movement of players between the three.

At the beginning of the year, this appeared to be an unlikely result after Henderson lost the four seniors from last years regional winner but Coaching and a reservoir of talented players again prevailed. The little 6th continues to excell in girls basketball and baseball while the 8th continues to control boy's basketball.

It would not have mattered, same Coach and the transfers would have stayed in the 8th somewhere anyway.
