Carr to explain how they would beat LexCath considering the Knights won @ Boyle? Not only that they have owned the series lately. They won the last meeting with their LT and starting QB out. What do you believe will be the difference if they meet up again ?

I hope Boyle County rises to the challenge in Louisville. I told people that game will bring out the best in both teams because I think it's 50/50 game. I think it's also the best 2nd round matchup in the state. Turnovers, red zone and 3rd downs will determine this game

I'm glad someone noticed the obvious with his posts. Negative towards three seventeen year old kids every time you post something. If a college coach or a recruiting site says those kids are scholarship worthy that is something we should congratulate them on. Instead you use this achievement to belittle those 3 win the team losses a game? Grow up Sir. If you know anything about football you know it's about more than those players. It's also year one of a new coaching regime. You can't expect to just change a culture overnight. Do you remember Nick Saban's first season at Alabama? If the team losses next week you'll be back on here again calling the kids and coaches out. I hope me expressing that the negative comments are unnecessary get through to you. And for the record I know that one had season ending surgery last month and another one of the OL has been dinged up.

Awesome news. I was told by the janitor @ CWS that he overhead a speakerphone conversation with Legend's father and the doctor that his son could play next Friday. The janitor then tweeted this out on Thursday but after getting a direct message from the LexCath Athletic Director the tweet has been deleted and the Twitter account is now private. I'll keep you informed on any janitorial Gridiron gossip on this particular subject.

It's never easy making it to a road game on a work day, but I applaud the LC parents for making down to Somerset. The support for the Knights was undeniable and you could tell the kids loved it. I thought the business minded trip to Southwestern was there from the opening kick. Scoring 3 TD on the first handful of plays allowed the early 22-0 lead in the first 4 minutes of the game. Once the running clock started we were able to pull the starters so that is always a plus. Now for the moment we have all been waiting for........ the month of November. Wow the anticipation and excitement to compete is now here. And there will be a surprise for everyone next Friday, just wait for it.

What classes play on Friday and what classes play on Saturday?

I'd recommend all that has been stated but to make things a little fun in the game and in practice I would install trick plays. I'd work on my onside kick, fake punts, double reverses, wildcat, hook & ladder (Morris to Ogbagu) and anything the kids can think of. I think you let the QB pick the plays they want to run and allow your Defensive captain to pick the defense

Dunbar has improved but I see Boyle pulling away in the second half. I do like the direction that PLD is headed in.

I don't want to throw the name of LexCath out there because I have an obvious love the boys in blue. I think I will tell you from what I've seen on tape in 3A I'd say Boyle has the best overall. I like what Central does up front with their physicality. I also like what the playmakers do for Caldwell and Elizabethtown. When I look at player for player and what they can give you in formations, talent, experience and depth Boyle County would get my vote.

@JoshMoore is a joke for the Lexington Herald Leader. The quality of the newspaper is at an all time low. He didn't even write about the game with LexCath vs Boyle County. I saw his ballot and you can tell that all he looks at is the record of a team to determine 1-10. Rather than Periscope ladies volleyball games get over to the games and do some reporting on football. If you don't wish to do such a thing allow someone else to do it so they can vote on the teams that they've actually seen. If there wasn't Twitter he'd be even more clueless........
