They head to Paris to take on the Greyhounds next Friday. Should be a nice test for both teams. -

Lloyd and Scott should be a good match up next week, Go Juggs! -
Thanks for the clarification. My cousin was the middle linebacker for Boone, I was living out west at the time, I was not at the game.

94' Boone County team was Alexander's Junior season. I believe lost to Trinity 3-0 at state.
-
Eric Lanthorne, Mike Pangallo, Billy Youell, not sure if Jimmy Roberts was on that team. Murphy had that team hitting on all cylinders.

Trinity/Bishop Gorman
tark the shark replied to All State Baseball's topic in KY Football (High School)
Bishop Gorman is a member. Findlay Prep is not. -
I loved his father. He is kind of a strange cat, but I like the one on one interviews, that is on a Direct Tv channel that I rarely watch. He almost died from getting hair plugs, true story.

I find it comical that some would call out Eric Turner not even 10 minutes after the Juggs won last night on his short comings. It was our first victory over NCC in a quarter century. I think they should name a street after him. I grew up on Woodward, we could make it Turner Ave. -
Old Sports Dad, its good to see you on the thread. You make BGP stronger when your active.

I do not believe Juggs snap their 25 year losing streak against the Breds tonight. A Juggernaut victory would propel me to buy rounds at the Dixie Club tomorrow night. On a side note, I missed my Fedex buddy, we have developed a good relationship with this friendly rivalry over the years. Go Juggs! -

It looked like a page out of an old Western Athletic Conference game. -

This thread is already on page 3 with 4 days to go, It speaks volumes to the success of Ludlow's team this year. -
5A #1 Covington Catholic vs. #9 Highlands
tark the shark replied to Pete W's topic in KY Football (High School)
Highlands has shown the last couple years to be the team to beat in NKY, I like in this game. Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was a Baseball thread, then give me CCH by 28. -
NCAA to announce UNC findings (penalties) Friday
tark the shark replied to Jumper_Dad's topic in College Basketball
"NCAA is so mad at Kentucky they're going to give Cleveland State another year of probation"--Jerry Tarkanain I think the blue blood of the Tarheels will escape with little penalty. -
Agreed, he mentions Cal by name in the suit, so I do not believe he will be work his games.

ADIDAS...Done in college basketball?
tark the shark replied to Jumper_Dad's topic in College Basketball
Mayo was with Vaccaro at Addidas his entire youth, switched to Nike when Sonny parted ways with Addidas. He has been with Nike ever since. -
The Juggs looked to dig them self into a 13-0 early, only to fight back. I have said for the last couple years that I would like to see this game switched with Boone County. It would be a better fit for all schools.

My UC friends who are connected close to their program, have always said Marquise Teague's recruitment was on the take with AAU. I know Cal had confronted Mick in Vegas over the matter, I always wrote it off as sour grapes. Teague's agent was raided by the FBI yesterday. I do not know if there is a connection.

I always found the O.J. Mayo journey with Adidas to be red flagged. Multiple high schools including North College Hill and Huntington Prep. Sonny Vaccaro by his side since 7th grade, eventually signs with SC. Another case is Shabazz Muhammad, Adidas signed his sister (150 in the world tennis player), to a lucrative tennis endorsement that a top 5 player would receive. He ends up at UCLA which was an Adidas school. -

When UNLV and Kentucky are my teams, you know I suffer a lot every fall.
