Sounds like with having beaten Holy Cross the other night and playing the Juggs close, coach had them hitting their stride. Certainly went out looking pretty good.

Sounds like the Cru put up a heckuva fight! Congrats to Lloyd on advancing.

The Cru played a lot better than the first meeting three weeks ago. It should a nice final Friday against Dixie. It was nice to see old friends in E-town tonight.

Cru outmanned at every position. Juggernauts bigger, stronger, faster, and longer. Great effort and another extraordinary coaching job by Coach Faust. I was impressed with the Cru's efforts. This game was either teams until Hamilton hit 4 FTs in last 15 seconds.

Another note, these 9th Region refs let these two teams bang. Don't see this rough tolerance in the 10th. It was rougher than "No blood, no foul" as one Lloyd player was clobbered on a breakaway and was down for 5 minutes. Blood was cleaned by something that looked lika a zamboni. Did I mention no foul? Play on. Both teams kept their emotions in check. Great job coaches!

Hate it that the season and high school careers of these Crusaders comes to a close. But, in the end, there is only 1 team that ends the season with a win.

St.Henry had nothing to be ashamed of. They played a competitive/strong game. Best of luck to Lloyd going forward. Enjoy the regional experience and win a few more.

Seems like a big change from what I've seen from 9th Region officials in the past.

No stats, but was very impressed with Lloyd's aggressive D. Their guards' quickness and overall height advantage led to my estimate of 10 steals by guards and at least double digit shot blocks by bigs. Love to see game stats to confirm. On the bad side, Jugs shot bricks from the line all night until Hamilton hit 4 in last 15 secs. Lloyd can compete with many teams if refs allow banging, armbars, and hacking like they did last night. IMO

No doubt. The 9th used to be one of the most tightly called regions in the state.

Not shocked Hamilton carried the team at the end. He was one of my favorite players to watch this year. They are a nice team. Lots of seniors. It would be neat to see them make a run.
