Don't remember mentioning anything about any of the teams winning a state championship. I just listed the teams on their schedule for anybody interested in knowing. I guess winning middle school championships have become more important than the high school ones. Thanks for your 2 cents because that is all i can see it's worth.

And Boyle Middle plays Lex Cath every year. They also have a scrimmage against Wayne Co, Coach Smith believes in fundamentals and learning at the middle school age and worries about championships in High School, pretty sure what he has done speaks for itself. Boyle Middle schedule has Anderson, West and East Jessamine, Lex Cath, North Hardin, Lex Christian, Lincoln, Mercer, Danville, Bondurant and the scrimmage with Wayne.

I may or may not have seen this Chris guy on the field helping with the middle school kids yesterday.

It very well could be but there are so many variables each year and anybody can lay an egg at any time, if platooning is the only way to go then how come Highlands hasn't won 20 straight state championships?? How come UK didn't go undefeated??? Oh yeah i know why, anybody can win on any given night! I think that if they can play defense without Josey Coach Smith will do that but if he thinks his best chances to win are with him out there then you will see him on defense.

And several of those years his QB played linebacker!!

Not to mention a very sick Hagen Tyler, pretty sure Catholic will see a very different team.

Doesn't really matter but who keeps up with blocks because Elkins had at least 5 and you have him for 3 if i read that correctly.

By storming the court the kids did not go to half court or anything they just went to the freethrow line right in front of their section, they just celebrated a win! I don't believe they were storming the court or the whole court would have been covered with black and gold. The Rebel Rowdies were doing what they have done all year long and that was support their team and they do it really well. If those kids want to storm the court after every game then so be it in my eyes they are a big part of the team.

I was fortunate enough to be part of that squad! It was a great moment. 1991 with Paul Orberson as head coach and Mike Pittman as the assistant along with Doug Wesley.

I don't know about you but that was the best thing ever!! Those kids rock and i am jealous!

Who is worried about his dad? And are you saying his father has no problem popping a kid? And from what i hear you don't have to pop his kid for his dad to go after a kid from another team.

2 years in a row that Timmy has tried to or has punched somebody below the belt!! Such a great young man!

The funny thing to me is we have been beat by Lincoln the last 4 times and nobody got on here and talked about how many shots Hagen took in those 4 losses. If we get beat again and he takes 30 shots are we gonna say Hagen has to cut back a little and keep his team involved? Take a hard look at this Boyle team! They are not a team, team ball was played by Lincoln. Maybe we need to let Elkins touch the ball every time down the court? If Elkins plays for Lincoln he scores 15+ every night cause they would use him i guarantee that!! So there are a lot of ifs that are being stated but Boyle better figure out how to be a team!

Hey Wireman are we gonna get to see any video of the intentional? I would love to see it when we are not in the heat of the moment.

What i think is that anybody can have a bad night and some teams match up better with others, i haven't seen anybody that can't be beat on any given night. Maybe 9 out of 10 times Lincoln doesn't beat Bryan Station, but maybe 9 out of 10 Bryan Station doesn't beat Boyle so what does that mean?

So what you are saying is Farmer didn't really help as much as you thought?

Does that mean Whitley is a top 10 team too? Just because somebody gets beat doesn't automatically make the other team better. They were better on a given night but overall does Whitley beat Boyle 7 out of 10 times. My answer is NO. Does Clay beat Boyle 7 out of 10, my answer again is NO. I think Clay is a top 20 team, I loved watching them play they are a force to be dealt with. Now the question is, is Boyle a top 10 team? Rankings to me are just something for everybody to talk about, at the end of the day if you don't win the region does it even matter what you were ranked?

They might have still been tired having to play Boyle and Trinity back to back. Can't remember who else they had to play in the tourney...........
