Eh, whoever called Lexington Catholic the best team in the 11th must have been off.

 

This and the district's seeding makes the Knight's next matchup with Lexington Christian Academy a little more interesting, though I still think the Knights take care of business. It's just tough to see them losing 3 in a row, even to three really good teams.

 

Hats off to Lafayette. You needed a signature win to pump up your stock and you definitely got one tonight.

Just a wild guess on this one, but I'm going to say that Mendenhall's familiarity with Lexington Catholic's philosophies wasn't something that hurt the General's efforts.

17 turnovers while shooting 29% isn't going to get it done most nights. Didn't watch the game so I don't know if it was all Lafayette's Defense or if LexCath was just missing open shots. Probably a combination of both.

They might have still been tired having to play Boyle and Trinity back to back. Can't remember who else they had to play in the tourney...........
