All of this coming from a guy that's team hasn't ever been to the regional tourney. Can't handle the Birds success. But the way things are looking, probably should get use to it. Now back on topic..... What will the blue and red colonels have next year? These two teams show up every year.

Maybe for a "small" school this is the case. But that's not the goal for everyone. To be taken as a contender in the state a regional title is considered the bench mark. My hierarchy would be close to yours but I would flip 3 & 4. BTW, just because I dont know the answer....how many teams play in the All A?

I assume since neither threw yesterday that it will be Heppler vs Ross tonight in the 5pm game at Florence Freedom. Should make for an outstanding game. What say you?

Even though the brackets aren't complete, the field is set. These 8 teams will be battling Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Florence Freedom for the chance to represent the region in Lexington. I heard the team showed up at 440 for a 5pm game. That's cutting it close.

I believe sophomore Ricky Raisor threw a no hitter in his varsity debut for Highlands.

They got a tall order today. Wish them the best!

So how do you handle this? Say you have 15 juniors playing varsity(all contributors) These guys will be varsity seniors next year. Say your JV is 15 deep of sophomores. All of a sudden you implement the rule that juniors cant play JV and all of a sudden you cut 12 or the juniors to be. Then here you go with your numbers in the tank again. I guess its cyclical to a point. Bottom line is the best will play regardless of grade.

I assume it will be Ganns vs Dunn. Should be a great game! What say you???

Records go out the window when the tourneys start. Anyone can beat anyone on any given night.

I'd have to say that the blue Colonels probably played mostly JV guys and rested their usual 9.

In 2 games, I know 6 guys threw a "pen" during the games.
