They actually went the entire JV tourney without giving up a run and scoring 29 in four games.

Congrats to birds on very dominate and impressive run thru tournament and a great season. Future looking bright in Ft Thomas

NOTE: I don't think there is a JR on the HHS JV squad. Mostly SO with a few FR sprinkled in. Very talented and dedicated group. Coach Reynolds and Assistant Coach Muench do a great job of developing players.

Most JV squads are Sophomores and Freshman and sometimes an 8th grader or two. Is there many schools in NKY w/ Juniors on JV. I could see maybe a large county school w/ a lot of kids maybe have a Jr or two, but I wouldn't think smaller schools would have any Jr on their JV squad.

Correct you are on the roster. I said several years ago that this Sophomore group was pretty talented in baseball and not even all of them are playing at HHS. Reynolds did a nice job of finding places for them to play in order to maximize the abilities that they do have.

I know of a few schools that do not allow Juniors to play JV.

The point about the JV team being all sophomores with a few freshmen is a testament to the numbers of athletes Jeremy has attracted back to the diamond. Just a couple of years ago, the JV team at HHS would have been a lot younger (mostly frosh) due to the need for sophomores to play varsity. Now the talent pool is much deeper. Thirteen contributing juniors on this years varsity team. You may see juniors on next years HHS squad as there will not be room on the varsity roster for all the kids next year.
