Thank you very much

What time are Region finals sat??

Have to say Rowe also. Even tho Zig, Stringer and Combs are deserving too. Lots of talent in the Ninth this year.

Don't know the young man's name but #27 for Grant Co looks impressive. Had one of the few hits the Braves had and heard he's only a frosh.

Florence 5pm tonight big game against to top area teams... opinions, guesses, predictions??

Congrats Jeffrey!!!!

Congrats Jake!!!!! Great ball player and even better young man and family. Hope nothing but the best and huge success at next level(s)...From Rangers t-ball to Midland, all that hard work pays off big, congrats again!!

Second that!!!! Rhodie, Trey-vahn, BStanley, Cam, Floyd, Natedawg, Artie, couldn't ask for better Sr leadership. Hold heads up high gentlemen, you made us proud!!!

Final Wed from Florence Boone's Elmore goes 6 innings to clinch his 5th win of season. Dahms perfect 7th for save. Rebels bats led by Hibbard (2 for 3, 2rbi) and Works (1 for 2, 2rbi, 2R). Rebels, (17-12) finish regular season at home vs Walton Verona Friday

anyone know the names of the ss for scott and the boone pitchers, 2, 44 and 32 i think look like solid ball players

AAAAHHHH......the sweet sounds of spring. Cant describe how enjoying it was seeing the ball thrown around, sounds of ball cracking off the bat, and the bases being ran around. Great day indeed. Baseball is here my friends, finally, baseball is here!! As for team observations: Scott had a SS that made quite a few nice plays. Showed great range and strong arm. On Boone side their strength looks early on pitching and defense. Last two pitchers for Boone were impressive. Overall it is early and pitching and D is ahead of the game, both offenses struggled a bit, but rust should come off soon. Just enjoyed getting to watch, and thinking this time last week we had a foot of snow...ha ha Baseball is here......Good luck to all!!!

Don't forget about the other Bluegrass team, Bluegrass Lions, filled with Beechwood and Boone kids, all 2016 class and third summer together under coach Meyerhoff. Should be in the conversation of elite summer teams in NKY

Big travel week next week for both Bluegrass teams. 18u Chiefs go to Pittsburgh area for the Freeport Classic and the 16u Lions travel to Clearwater for the IBC World Series. Good luck to both and continued success on the season.

Ganns did not pitch in Doc Morris. Austin Johnson,Tanner Geiske, and Trey Martin pitched the 10 inning game vCooper. Ganns pitched the seed game @Cooper and the Dist Tourny game@Boone vCooper

Bluegrass Lions 16u Ryan Bankamper-Beechwood Kennan Bode-Beechwood Daniel Dahms-Boone Co Ethan Elmore-Boone Co Brady Hayes-Bellvue Kenton Hibbard-Boone Co Chase Kellar-Bishop Brossart Seaver Oliverio Jeffrey Purnell-Boone Co Logan Rieman-Ryle Kyle Rowe-Beechwood Max Sims-Conner Joe Studer-Beechwood Tanner Verst-Bishop Brossart Mark Walkenhurst-Highlands Jeremy Williams-Cooper

Great job Cougars!!!!! And great season to the Birds, one of the best hitting teams I've seen this year

I believe you're right Clyde. If I'm not mistaken I think that team was led by the "Jimmy" boys, Pitzer and Dorton. I believe Jeff Akers played on that team as well. Heck of ball club much like this Cougar version.

Boone wins 4-1. Complete gene by Ganns. Big triple but Purnell to take lead.. big win for Rebels. Congrats to the jags on season. Great kids on both teams

Congrats to birds on very dominate and impressive run thru tournament and a great season. Future looking bright in Ft Thomas

HHS/Boone was Raisor v Vickers

Have to go with Colin Teegarden (Boone) and Nick(?) Craddock, pitcher from Conner. Both very impressive at varsity level.

Yes, the original post was JV score. Forgot that in the heading, my apologies

Final from Florence. Ethan Elmore goes the distance for the Rebels. Kenton Hibbard 1 for 2 with 2b and 3 RBI for Boone. Rebels improve to 12-7-1 on the season

These guys have been at jv but could be very productive at varsity level: Jake Sisson, Cooper Bryce Cook, Conner Daniel Dahms, Boone Kenton Hibbard, Boone Andrew Louman, Ryle

Any info on the brackets yet??
