I would agree with that statement for sure. The bullpen phone will be constantly ringing. Plenty of quality arms still available to get the job done tonight.

Birds have pitching depth and I know Coach Baioni has faith in everyone he can turn to tonight. KHSAA rules count 1 pitch as 1 inning so JR Bunning, who threw 1 2/3 innings last night, but part of the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings, is unavailable.

 

SO Raisor, FR Doty, SR Vermeil, JR Noe, JR Ball, SO Kreeger, and SR Allen would all be available if their names are called.

 

Pretty amazing job by Coach Baioni and his very dedicated staff. The cupboard is very full in Fort Thomas.

My memory tells me that the last time Conner won the 9th region was my sophomore year in 1979. Pretty sure they beat the Birds.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the only pitcher unavailable for Conner is last night's starter. I believe I saw in round one that Conner pitched several and no one went more than 2 innings.
