6A Playoff Bracket
Lexington districts are a lot more talented this year. Lafayette, Henry Clay, Brant Station all look talented. Explosive skill players. Quick scores have a tendency to mask deficiencies.

What will it take to stop Highlands?
Moving up to 6A.

Campbell County/ Lafayette Predictions Playoffs Round 1
Lafayette way too athletic for the Camels. Running clock by the 3rd qtr. This team only lost to Scott County by 4 points.

6A Playoff Bracket
Lafayette is in the same mold as Scott County. A program known to give SK fits. I'm not saying SK cannot win, all I'm saying is don't look past The Generals to the Colonels or you could be embarrased.

6A Playoff Bracket
Tough match up for SK. SK's secondary, while very good, is small. I'm judging from tape, but those outside receivers for Lafayette look 6' 3".

6A Playoff Bracket
Don't sleep on Lafayette. Very good team with lots of athletes. Tall, fast receivers, athletic DLine.

Should high schools build up their numbers at the expense of the middle schools?
So , applying your logic to academics, if you are an intellectually gifted student who is not challenged by the middle school grade their age dictates they place, do you keep them there even though they are not challenged by an age appropriate curriculum?

Should high schools build up their numbers at the expense of the middle schools?
If they are good enough to play, let them play. PT should be given on the basis of merit. Period.

St. Xavier vs Simon Kenton
Or, 1/4 the size of a typical HHS thread!

Best Girls Basketball Coaches in KY
Only lack of big game experience kept them from winning the last one. Other than last year's freshman class, SK is LOADED at every level.

Story on why NKY teams won't play Highlands
My assertions deal with being able to communicate freely within the rules here, not specific student athlete issues at HHS. Reread my posts carefully please.

Story on why NKY teams won't play Highlands
Posts don't have to violate rules to be suppressed here. Almost anyone outside Ft. Thomas would know this. So no, I am indeed correct on this one!

Story on why NKY teams won't play Highlands
I had it wrong. I do believe there is another school who does not offer boys soccer.

Story on why NKY teams won't play Highlands
Recruiting of High School athletes is illegal! Thats why they are recruited in MIDDLE SCHOOL! As impotent as KHSAA is, would it really matter. You could pay players and they would ignore it. All kidding aside, could the real reason for HHS excellence in football just boil down to not offering other fall sports in order to funnel athletes into football? If I am not mistaken, I don't believe they do not offer soccer and wonder if they offer Cross Country. And in case you have not noticed, the rest of their athletic programs, with the exception of girls bb, is nothing special.

ccc- Will Madison Southern come to Trinity?
The biggest issue I see playing Trinity, especially late in the year, is injury. T can drop 4 - 5 players and not miss a beat. Anybody else, their season is OVER.- Coaches look to future of football safety emphasis
Chief, what do you think the game will look like in 20 years? Is the game going to evolve into "flag football" with pads? It is the nature of competition that each generation gets bigger, stronger, and faster, which means more and more momentum behind collisions. Safety precautions cannot change the physics behind these collisions. When I was a senior in HS, I was 6' "3 235 lbs playing OT. My son is a junior and is 6'4" 315 lbs. That is just one generation!- Jeff Marksberry talks Simon Kenton Football 2013
Center- Jeff Marksberry talks Simon Kenton Football 2013
Throw in a 2nd team Trisatate all star for a transfer and this team does not have may holes. The only uncertainties will be who will play center and who will get the majority of carries at rb. - Simon Kenton Pioneers
