Birthday? Christmas? Summer vacation? Heck no. Give me HS football!! The greatest time of them all.

Good interview. With everything SK has coming back expectations should be very high in Independence.

Throw in a 2nd team Trisatate all star for a transfer and this team does not have may holes. The only uncertainties will be who will play center and who will get the majority of carries at rb.

Who's the transfer?

Coach Marksberry very relaxed, did he get a Lazy-Boy installed in the office?

We were actually in the soccer office.

I was thinking the same...SK will be VERY GOOD this season. Didn't realize they returned so much until Coach Marksberry started rattling off all the names. They will definetly be in contention to be my #2 or #3 team this season when I come out with my preseason rankings.

His name is Austin Richardson and he will be wearing #51 for SK this year. He played Nose tackle and DE for Campbell County last year. He goes about 225 but plays a lot bigger and gives everything he can when he is on the field. A great kid that will be missed a lot in Camel land. SK will be very happy with what they get out of him.

Should be a great year in Independence, both sides of the ball will be good, but that offense will put up gaudy numbers this year.

SK is set with their 3 D Linemen. Is there a position move for this young man or will add depth on the D line?

I think skill set wise he fits SK's defense as a lineman. Not huge for a d lineman but plays quick, uses good leverage, and plays to the whistle. SK has their three back from last year but he is good enough to get an equal number of reps with the others.

I'm sure Richardson will manage to find his way on the field this season. Did a little digging and he was selected on defense to the NKAC 6A All star team.

Center

He will do whatever is best for the team.
