How many years has it been since X has beaten T? T has been a level above X for 6 years now. Male has been better than X for at least the last 2 years.

Once in 20 year anomaly. I believe T and X have 90% of the titles in 6A/4A? Once they build a second HS down there , Scott County will be back to the pack with the Meade, SK and Dixie crowd.

Translation : If you don't have access to the Louisville talent pool, don't bother competing in 6A. Time for the 6A publics to succeed from KHSAA and form an alternative organization and tournament!

Sounds like the perspective of a NDA supporter. SK missed a lot of chippies off of turnovers. Should have been a double digit win. JV game close until late. Good luck to NDA moving forward.

NDA led and stayed in the game by hitting a high percentage of 3's and running back door cuts and passes. SK caught up and won by playing clamp down defense in the final quarter.

Final from Park Hills. SK goes to 3-0, NDA to 0-3.

Central is pretty undisciplined for a team playing in a title game.

I don't believe so. Middle schools can feed multiple high schools, so she could have played at any of the three KC High Schools. BTW, SK had the exact same circumstances occur with a kid named Kennedy Baugh. She got varsity minutes with SK as a middle schooler and ended up choosing to go to NDA.

How many athletes that do not attend parochial schools in grade and middle school end up attending catholic schools? Kind of a double standard here? Had Ally Neice ended up at NDA, would you be making the same comment?

If Alabama, Florida State or Ohio State fired a coach after a three loss season, I would understand it. But Nebraska? I would not want to send my kid to play for a program that makes such a reckless dismissal.

Transfer rules only trigger once one gets varsity time as a freshmen (or later).

9th region officials worked the game.

Every year SK gets two or three losses from officiating crews that don't call body fouls. Early in the game, I thought this might be one. It will be interesting to see how the SK "Diaper Dandies" do against a team with good ball handlers.

Ally is going to SK on open enrollment. Her previous varsity experience was as a middle schooler.

I'm not sure which one Lange was. I believe Jump fouled out. This game left me scratching my head wondering ir Ryle did any scouting on SK. Ryle had several smaller, quicker guards coming off the bench, that given match ups, should have gotten more PT than the bigs. Although Ryle's bigs did bother SK shooters, the lack of lateral mobility and quickness led to way too many fouls and put SK in the double bonus early in each half.

I appreciate you being good natured about it. I label my pre game threads as "Previews" not "Predictions". Trying to predict outcomes of games involving teenagers only makes one look foolish!
