  1. I think he is homesick honestly. He was pitching fine until the Royals made the trip to Cincy. And since then he's been terrible. I think him seeing his former teammates and hanging out with them then leaving messed him up a bit. He really did love his teammates here in Cincy. And I also think him not being around Bryan Pena has had an effect as well.
  2. Both teams Ofenses are capable of dropping 50 on each teams putrid defense. UK 45 USC 42
  3. Also it looked like the play calling on both sides of the ball for UK was very vanilla. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times UK rushed 5 or more. And they seemed to call basic offensive plays and didn't really try to confuse and keep the D off balance. Maybe they weren't trying to show USC much.
  4. I think I can give PT a pass on the first game of the year, he got in a groove in the 1st half and tore it up. But after half time he was off. If he struggles next game I'd say get Barker in there. But I think he deserves another game for there truly to be a QB controversy.
  5. This Vandy team looks worse than any team Joker trotted out there, they are terrible. Didn't think they would fall this fast after Franklin left. I at least thought they'd be mediocre for a few years.
  6. As crazy as this sounds, im going to go with the Mets beating the Blue Jays.
  7. Thank goodness this game is first, this would have been a trap game anywhere else in the schedule. ULL is a very solid team so they will play close with UK. But in the end UK wins 42-21
  8. Duke has the same problem as UK so I think the Cats will take them as I like UK's roster vs Dukes. But I'll go with 4 losses, 3 SEC and 1 to OSU
  9. He needs to be here for these young pitchers next year, but after that I really don't want him. He's in way over his head to be a manager, but I'd sacrifice one more season if he can get the pitchers some good coaching.
  10. The Reds would be in some doodoo if the 8M dollars kicked in from his contract for reaching 500 ABs. This move had to be made.
  11. In almost every city a street car is used to compliment the mass transit trains already in use. This is essentially a tour train going around the city. Also the other proble with this is, it only connects about a 1.5 mile stretch of the city. Most street car routes go in a line with two tracks which connect 4 or so miles of the city. A good route would have been to have the street car start at UC, go through Findlay, Fountain square, the banks, then to Newport. It would have connected a huge chunk of the downtown and it would be worth riding as it connects you to almost the whole city. But this route they built is very inefficient.
  12. It still is a huge waste of money. No reason to spend that much on something that doesn't give you any benefit. I'll stick with über/Taxi/Walking before I even think of using that thing down there. The main problem is it only effects the people who actually live downtown. And that population is way in the minority compared to the suburbs. They needed a system like St. Louis that can connect the whole area to downtown, not just the people in a mile wide circle. I don't think anyone is going to drive and park downtown just to issue the street car to get places. They'll drive to their destination and leave. Stupid waste of money, and one of the reasons I'm glad I live in NKY vs living in Hamilton county.
  13. Lamb has some really nasty pitches. he threw a curveball that broke from the helmet to the toes. Really like what the Reds have in him.
  14. Excited to see what Lamb has in store tonight. How good of a pickup was that Sampson kid? He's been a very pleasant surprise
  15. They will buy out both of those road games. They have to
  16. I hope someday I could have the means and time to spend money on a season ticket package. I've always thought it was cool how you always get to know the people around you and get to see them every game.
  17. Trump is the greatest thing to happen for these nominations. He's so entertained that more people tune in because they want to witness the side show. By drawing in these viewers, they actually get a chance to see real candidates and form opinions. I'd wager that there will be less people who watch the Democrat delay than this Republican one. He also isn't afraid to go against the grain and actually bring up some valid points. He needs to stick in as long as possible then get out of the way for the real candidate to win against the other side.
  18. The rotation won't be ready at all next year, 2017 is the earliest they can start a window. There are also worse middle of the order in a lineup than Votto, Meso, Bruce, Frazier. If they can add to that, they can be in good shape then.
  19. Every cable company will have a turn with debates. It's always like this.
  20. Rand is a perfect mix of moderate and conservative to win an election. But the GOP is too scared to elect someone different. Sad really. I really like Rand but he has to appeal to the GOP base, and he can't. I've liked Rubio for 2016 as soon as Obama won re-election, and I still think that. He is still really conservative but can appeal to a big enough proportion of the public to get elected.
  21. Frazier has been pulling off of the ball for a month. When he went through the hot stretch he could at least cover about 85% of the plate and effectively get wood on the ball. Now if it's not on the inside 25% of the plate, he's rolling over and grounding out to short.
  22. Oh man I loved Entourage. A show to me that was entertaining yet not deep. It was always a quick enjoyable 30 minutes.
  23. I keep wanting it to be like Entourage and it's not. I'm hanging in there but barely.
  24. Sun/moon deck is always my preference best value for proximity to field with price. Wasn't a huge fan of the club. I hate missing pitches in a game, and the lines in the early innings were terrible. Since I really don't eat during the games I really didn't get my monies worth IMO. And the hot dogs up there were barely edible.
