  1. That Cubs team is stacked with young talent that is starting to enter their prime. He took them from a borderline playoff team to a playoff team. The Cubs will be a force for a while.
  2. I don't think so either but I wouldn't want to bring a new guy into this mess. Let Price ride this out next year. Then when the window to compete starts to crack back open hire another guy.
  3. I think Prices game management is terrible. But this isn't his mess. He should at least get another year, and they'll still stink. No manager is going to change this Reds team
  4. There's a lot of talent in the WR core, not enough balls to go around to keep people happy. Johnson, Baker, and Badet will always get the majority of the balls thrown to them because they are simply better. Timmons, Bone, etc. are going to have to fight for the scraps, and make the most of those opportunities. It's not that there is something wrong with him, he simply isn't good enough.
  5. At the time it was a good trade for the Reds, they were in a position to go for it all at the time and he really did help contribute the years he was here.
  6. This could be a very underwhelming game for the Cats. With the bye week on the horizon and a matchup with Auburn shortly after, the Cats have to stay focused on the present. Because of that I think EKU keeps it close for a half, and by close I mean about 10 points. But I see UK running away with it in the second. UK 42 EKU 14
  7. If the Reds don't trade Chapman this offseason I'll be really disappointed. No need for him to pitch in the 9th in September when the Reds are 30 games out and down 8 runs.
  8. Nope, the pitching won't be ready till at least 2017. And the offense isn't showing any signs of getting better.
  9. My how the mighty have fallen. Was DFA'd last week and now they outright realeased him.
  10. My only worry is Mizzou always looks bad 3 and a half quarters of a game, then becomes clutch in the 4th. UK has to be up 14 in the 4th or they probably lose.
  11. Please let this be true. This would be hilarious and it couldn't happen to a better guy.
  12. Going to be a great season. All 20, well 19, are game players. Should be a pretty cut throat season.
  13. It was a blah season, won't be memorable at all but it wasn't a total clunker. All the people that could have been the most entertaining went out in the first 5 or so weeks. Vanessa had the best gameplay but Steve made the best move at the end for him to win. Glad he did and his reaction was amazing.
  14. This whole QB "controversy" thing has taken on a life of its own. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. This team is 2-1 and has a lot of winnable games on the schedule. It's ridiculous the amount of flak PT has taken this week. Some of the concern is definitely warranted, but full blown panic attack from a lot of this fan base is ignorant. He's the QB of this team and will be going forward no matter what any fan or media has to say about it. Let PT be PT, support him, and let the chips fall where they may. So in other words, get over yourselves and worry about other things. This team will be fine.
  15. UK 14 Mizzou 7 Going to be one ugly game in Lexington. I think UK will be able to handle MU D-Line as I don't think they have the speed UF has which is what UK has always seemed to struggle with.
  16. The offense was so bad from top to bottom, I didn't even realize PT had that bad of a game. Heck I didn't even realize UK threw it 24 times. There are bigger issues to this offense than the QB.
  17. I think PT would have been an average QB tonight if it wasn't for the drops and OLine issues. He could have played good enough to win if it wasn't for the drops and OLine play. He's not good enough to overcome a night where everyone is having a down game. Not many QBs are.
  18. No way the Reds could afford him though, he still is going to have a huge asking price. The only way he comes back is if he is willing to leave a really large amount of money on the table.
  19. I looked at the stats before and after the return trip to Cincy. Night and day. In his 4 starts before the Royals game to town, he had given up a total of 6 runs combined. He pitched the game right after they left town, he gave up 13 hits and 7 runs. And has been terrible since.
  20. Eifert looks like a different player, I don't know how much weight he has put on, but it looks like he has the mass to be able to take some shots to the body. Andy played great. If he has a 2 touchdown lead, he becomes an elite game manager and rarely will blow it. He won't win many from behind, but if Cincy has a lead I am confident in him.
  21. UT is going to be really good this year. Could win the east with all the talent they have.
  22. Also, UK has a big advantage at the QB spot. Towles should rebound for this game, and Mitch is really inexperienced, and quite frankly, below average. Could be the reason UK pulls this out.
  23. It's definitely going to be a barn burner. Whatever the over under is take the over, no defenses on both sides. Should actually be a really entertaining game.
  24. It's the begging of the year, who cares? The only SEC teams in the top 25 at the end of the year will be, Bama, atm, Auburn, UT, UGA, Ark
  25. I wouldn't be surprised if Cardale weighs more. The guy is a monster
