When looking back on this All Star game in 15 years, people will realize how ridiculously talented these rosters were. So many young superstars in this game it will be seen as the start of a new age of baseball.

Went las night and had to pinch myself a few times to really see if I was at an All Star game. Had a lot of fun these past 3 days, something I will ever for a really long time. I saw Billy Hatcher strolling through the concourse yesterday by the smokehouse, thought that was kind of odd. I figured either the coaches wouldn't be there or they'd be up in the club/suites.

Bob Nightengale (sp?) just said on the radio it's not an if but when Barry Larkin gets a big role within the organization. Whether it might be a big front office role or the manager. He made it sound as if it will happen in the coming weeks.

When was the last time STL traded an all star player in the middle of the season?

I honestly think Frazier will be a lifer for the Reds, there will be a lot of salary available when he becomes a FA and it will be there if he wants it. I don't see them trading him at all.

Just got back from the stadium... One of the greatest experiences I've had as a Reds fan. It was bananas every time he advanced. And once he hit the clincher the place lost its mind. This might be a top 3 event I've ever been to.

I watched all 4 local ones tonight lol. 3 out of the 4 made me optimistic, but WLWT acted like the stadium might blow into the Ohio river. It looks like it's going to happen, might be a little delayed, but it will still get done. On a side not, if those storms that come through do end up being like they say they are, that zip line contraption they built might get destroyed.

from the local weather people it sounds like tomorrow might end up to be OK for the derby. They are saying that there will be rain but most likely late afternoon then potential for a pop up during the evening. We might have enough gaps in between systems to get it in. Also luckily it's the Hr derby where the field doesn't have to be 100% playable.

One more question, will these be in waves/lines or constant rain? If it comes in lines and waves I'll be a lot less worried about the games
