Here's my other question. Is this the kind of storm system that flares up with the humidity then at night they pretty much are gone? I have tickets for the Home Run Derby Monday which starts at 8. Hoping it clears out by then.

Really enjoying the season so far, very good cast of characters. My only problem with how unorganized the house is. There has yet to be a strong alliance formed, so everyone is pretty much gunning for who they don't like, rather than strategically getting people off. Audrey will last a few more weeks because she is a big target, and as long as a big target is in the game people feel safe. Audrey's days are numbered though, I don't see them letting her get to jury.

Back in the day professional sports was part time. Everyone had job bs in the offseason. Now everyone trains every day of the offseason getting ready. That's why in baseball Spring training could probably be 2 weeks shorter. Also there have been major advancements in training philosophy's and nutrition which really helps as well.

If anyone can hit a ball over the scoreboard, it will have to be the longest home run in the history of baseball lol. I think to the last row of the section a player needs to hit it 460 feet. Add 30 feet for the score board and you are looking at 490 to the top. With the height and distance it probably will take over a 525 plus foot towering shot to clear it. Pretty much impossible

With the Reds building that new scoreboard, we may be robbed of seeing that. I guess they could pull one over the bullpen and out.

What if we replaced the word marriage with civil union which is basically what this is? Does that change anyone's view points? When I was talking to someone yesterday, his issue was people calling it same sex marriage. He believed that marriage has holy connotations and therefore shouldn't be bestowed on gay couples. But he also pointed out that this is essentially a civil union because gay couples getting "married" aren't doing it under God.

Same sexed couples aren't getting married in a church so why does it affect you? What happened to separation of church and state? None of this affects anyone except the people getting married. I will have a problem if the Roman Catholic Church does ever have same sex marriage ceremonies (I'd bet the house money it doesn't). The bible shouldn't rule our laws though. I believe people deserve to be happy. If they are happy being married to the same sex good for them.

It's a great day for me, I'm fiscally conservative, pro-life, Pro equality person. In the future presidential elections republicans don't have to worry about arguing gay rights. The issue is now done and will fade away into the sunset IMO.
