I do think it's funny people celebrate a treasonous flag. And I also think it's funny that a treasonous flag to the U.S. Is/was displayed on government buildings.

I'm not easily offended by a lot, the confederate flag doesn't offend me cause I'm white. But it should offend 100% of the black population because it's heritage is based on slavery and protecting the white mans right for owning other human beings. It may have change over time, but the original intent is still there and it should have been banned a long time ago.

Can someone explain why it is still around today? Do you believe people who display it are racist or just associate it with being from the south and really don't understand the meaning? I can't believe people still tout it around myself. It's a representation of a terrible time in the US's history and it blows my mind that people are proud of it.

I was at the Cubs game that got rained out, it was a 1 o'clock game, they called it at 5. I would have been thrilled if they did that game like they did last night.
