Numerous schools have been in contact today including Davidson , Boston University , Elon, Akron, Umass Lowell, Tennessee Tech, Radford, Wofford and a few others. Hagens stock is soaring right now. Shows what getting the right exposure and taking advantage of it will do.

Good luck to coach cook. He is a good coach . Hard to believe he would leave Lawrence Co bc they had a very young team led by the 2 brothers. Mercer is going to have a solid team next year led by Will Hager

If Garrard was smart they would have kept coach Bryant. Mistake not giving the job to him full time. And they wonder why they have a new coach just about every year

Seems to me they already knew who they wanted on team before tryouts even started. How can you pick who makes the team after only one 4 hour tryout. Alot of players chosen were based on their "name" and nobody can convince me otherwise . Also your typical political picks!! Seems like the team is stacked with alot of players with the same skill set/type of game. No disrespect to any of the players that made it but Hagen Tyler should have made it over half the players on the list. Also can say the same for a few other players not chosen

I agree with all of this. I love Edwards game. So versatile and just plays ball. Doesn't say a word, let's his game do the talking. Very good leader. Tyler is the best player in the region IMO. Not one dimensional. Definitely can shoot the ball but can get to the rim and to the lane against anybody. Very good rebounder and defender . Averaging 8 rbg for a guard is very good. Still to unselfish at times tho. Conway really elevated his game this season . Went from just being a spot up shooter to a more well rounded offensive player. Played alot more inside this year and did a good job. Good rebounder also. Needs to work on his defense. He should buy Taylor dinner after every game because he gets alot of buckets due to Taylor. They play very well together. Taylor is one of the top PG in the state if not the best. You will not steal the ball from that kid. Can get to the lane at will and finished at the rim alot better this season. Still needs to work on his outside shot and get a little stronger . Carson is just a wildcard. The kid has more talent then probably anybody in the region and maybe the state. He can just take over games with his scoring and passing. Hard to contain off the dribble and he is a very good passer. Just not a team player and has a bad attitude. ( missing regional tournament is prime example ). If he got his head on straight he could be one of the top players in the state. I absolutely love Will Hager from Mercer Co. That kid can play some ball. Always under control. Plays hard and smart. Can play any spot on the floor and guard any position. Did a very good job at PG this season at Mercer. Needs to improve his outside shot some. Very hard to stop from getting in the lane. Does a great job using ball fakes and head fakes. He's just a throwback basketball player. Nothing flashy. Just plays ball.

That game was both Boyle and Hagens worst game of the year but Tyler did stopped drop 20. Best player in the region and I don't think it's close

I have no idea. Don't know alot about Shelton. Know he is about 6'5 and a shooting guard. Saw him play a little bit at AAU state last year. Can anybody tell me more about him?? Is he a pretty solid player??

Steve Adams isn't going anywhere. He loves his players and his players love him. Hopefully things will get worked out. It was definitely handled wrong but a man to man conversation between Adams and Begley is needed.

not real sure about 16u yet. I would think that several of the players from the 15u team last year will be on it. I do know Colton Elkins from Boyle Co will be on it. He may play up wth 17u also. Look for Darius Williams from Dunbar, Cam Thomas from Madison Central, Trace Young from Ohio Co, to be on it based on last year's team. I know Jacoby Turner from Danville was going to tryout . I think he would have a good chance at making team. The 16u group will be very good

FYI they both went to prep school which a bunch of players are doing to improve their academics and to better transition into college. Yes Shelton is playing wth Magic this year. Magic 16u and 17u are going to be very good again this year.

In AAU rosters change day to day so you never know. Grundy will be out until at least July and Griffin has a broken wrist . Not sure how long he will be sidelined. They had 8 players at the workout today

Smith: PG from Ohio Rayshawn Robinson: Ballard Players I know of at this point. I was told today that 2 more players may be playing for magic and if they do this team will be very hard to beat. Not going to name players until I get confirmation. As you know in AAU rosters are subject to change from day to day but those are your core players. I will post schedule in the next day or two . Look forward to watching this team play this summer.
