  1. all time leading scorer is Derek Springate with 2200 points . Played with me. Great player .
  2. Steve Wright put a box and 1 on Tyler majority of 2nd half . Face guarded him everywhere he went. Edwards and Gaskin are hard to handle inside and the Isaacs kid can shoot the lights out. Really like Edwards game. Very versatile and plays smart
  3. The Rebels had this game won. Worst officiated game I've seen in a long time. 3 missed calls on same play at end of game that would have gave Boyle the ball. The kid from SW was trapped in corner at half court and he went over and back, double dribbled, and blatantly pushed off and nothing was called. Then he passed ball up and SW scored and got fouled to go up 3. Should have never came to that as Boyle player missed wide open layup that would have put Rebels up by 2 with all the momentum. Good hard fought game by both teams. Just hate to see kidd play so hard and get it tool from them by the refs!! Hagen Tyler lead the Rebels with another double double going for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Colton Elkins battled hard inside all night long. Got beat up all night !!! Chapman Bean also with a very solid game. Rebels are hard to beat when they get contributions from 3rd player.
  4. Conway has really developed his game. Last year was mostly a spot up shooter. This year he is attacking the basket more and scoring more inside. Helps to have a PG like Taylor getting him the ball.
  5. He's a junior. I was just saying that he is underrated and doesn't get alot of pup like he should or would if he played at a bigger school
  6. yes I'm biased but IMO Hagen is a top 15 player on class of 2015. If u saw what he did with the Louisville Magic last summer against top flight competition you would agree.
  7. Taylor is a very good point guard but he is the dirtiest player in the 12th region and it's not even close. He hit Josiah 3 times in the man region and that's coming from Josiah himself . No place for that in basketball. Plus his attitude is terrible. In the long run its going to hurt him in his recruitment
  8. He better not!! Lol.. got a feeling Lincoln Co better be ready. But if we can't stop Timmy Taylors penetration we might be in trouble. Was impressed last game with Conway. He's just not a spot up shooter anymore. Took the ball to the basket and worked more inside. He has really developed other parts of his game . Should be a great one. I'm going to have to miss it. I gotta work and need to save my vacation time for tournament time
  9. CONSIDERING Tyler is averaging 23 points per game I'm not sure what u mean by he will finally come into his own. I'm going with Boyle Co 68-59
  10. Wayne Co is very good. Don't be surprised if they win all 3 of those games. They have 3 very dangerous players in Woods, Blevins, and Stearns. Can't just key on one of them.
  11. Boyle blows by Mercer led by junior Hagen Tyler with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Colton Elkins with a monster game inside. 12 points 6 rebounds 6 blocks with 3 dunks. Caught one off the rim !! Mercer was lead by sophomore Will Hager with 27 points. That kid is a very nice player. Love the pace he plays with and how he uses his body to score. Plays hard also. One of the top sophomores along with Elkins in the state
  12. absolutely the WRONG call!! No way that was goaltending. He accidentally hit the net while the ball was still going up. If u watched the video then it proves that. Wrong call and it was a huge call at a critical time in the game.
  13. Boyle should have beat them. Hagen going 2 for 16 and then that horrible goal tending call. Lincoln is playing really good ball and have some quality wins. 45th district race is going to get interesting
  14. From what it looked like there is no bleachers in gym at all at new school. Don't understand that and maybe I'm wrong but from the outside looking in it looked like there were no bleachers anywhere
  15. What makes wayne so tough is that you can't just try and take away one player. If u focus on woods then Blevins will kill you. Focus on Blevins then Stearns will go for 20 plus. And u know woods is gonna get 20 plus about every night .
  16. Hagen Tyler leads Boyle with 29 points and 11 rebounds
  17. Darius is a nice player but he's nowhere near top 25 players in state. I have seen him play alot. Def a top 15 sophomore in the state
  18. Hagen Tyler from Boyle Co should Definitely be on any list. 9th in the state in scoring at 22.6 ppg and leads the state in FT % at 92.7. Also averages over 7 rebounds a game. My top 10 in no particular order would be : 1. Justice 2. Bolden 3. Matlock 4. Spalding 5. McDonald 6. Holman 7. Tyler 8. Hall 9. Carson 10. Tisdale
  19. Hoptown is loaded. The Matlock kid is a beast down low
  20. To be clear, I have nothing against cordia or the kids that play there. But its obvious what's going on there and the KHSAA is letting it happen. Its no different tho from what some other schools have been doing for a long time!! And its easy to guess what schools I'm talking about.
  21. Its a joke what's going on at cordia. Period!! KHSAA is the biggest joke of it all. No judge should have any say regarding high school athletics. How can all these kids at cordia be eligible and Josiah Robbins brother be ruled ineligible at Boyle Co last year when they live in the same household and Josiah attends Boyle and plays 3 sports. If I was in cordias region I would boycott playing them!!
  22. I really like Coach Britt at Mercer Co. He gives his players freedom to make plays and it looks like the kids love playing for him. I know I would have. He is constantly coaching and motivating. Mercer Co better make a commitment to him before a big school comes in and swoops him up. Some other top coaches in my opinion are Steve Wright ( SW ) Rodney Woods ( Wayne Co ) and the best coach I've ever had and still to this day haven't seen any better is Coach Greg Schepman, my middle school ( lol ) coach back at Boyle Co Middle School.
