Just seems like Steve Wright always has players fall into his lap right when he needs them. He's still one of the best coaches in the state IMO. I know when I played we had some wars with South Laurel. SW will have a very good team but losing a player the caliber of Justin Edwards will hurt

It's a shame and disrespectful to the game of basketball and to all the other kids who would have killed to play in this game. If it was up to me Justice and Hall wouldn't even be invited to tryout for the senior team next season . They should be held accountable. -
Also Cam Jones from East Jessamine. I was impressed with this kid at state. Made alot of things happen with his athleticism on both ends of the floor. Hoop Dreams 16u is stacked. I've said it all along, Will Hager is the best 2016 in the state that nobody talks about. That kid is a ball player!!!

If I remember correctly nobody on the Ville could stop Tyler at state. Had like 15 at the half and for whatever reason hardly got the ball the 2nd half. Took maybe 2 shots. Alot of selfish play the 2nd half for Hoop Dreams. The Ville was the better team that day . They have been together for years. This was the first year for that HD team to play together. That makes a huge difference . The Ville has a very good team . They make you pay for every mistake. Love Evan Halls game. Needs to develop a outside jumper . Was really impressed by Will Parker. He is very underrated -
Just like all the NKY bias that goes on here. Lol.

I stand by comment. IMO Tyler is the best all around guard in the state and Taylor is the best Pure PG in the state. But that's just my opinion -

Just to be clear I mean no disrespect to Justice or Hall. Both are very good players. It's just my opinion that if u get chosen for a team like this then u play. Now if the reason they didn't play is valid then ok. -

Thank you. I agree 100%. What was the reason they gave for not playing -

I'm sorry but that makes me sick. Nothing against Justice or Hall but why wouldn't they play?? You got kids like Hagen Tyler or Timmy Taylor or Jacob Conway that should have made the team in the first place and would have been honored to play and then you have 2 kids that made the team ( deserving so ) and they choose not to play for whatever reason. The whole process of how this team was chosen was a joke and from what I've been told from numerous sources they knew who was going to make the team be for tryouts even started. You got a kid like Tyler who is the best guard in the state and he doesn't make the team . Add to that Timmy Taylor who is the best PG in the state -
Listen I started this thread to talk about the top players in the state. Not for everybody to talk about NKY basketball and who's D1 or D2. Go to another thread if that's what you want to talk about. Please talk about who you think the top players in class of 2015 are and leave all the NKY biased for another thread.

That's true but they don't play in the LIT or King of the Bluegrass. I haven't heard anything about Boyle playing in Republic Bank Classic. I hope they do. Would be a great tournament for Boyles players to get exposure. Not just Hagen but Colton Elkins also . I completely agree about the switch from the Magic to Hoop Dreams. Magic was just not the right fit for him. First weekend he plays for Hoop Dreams he gets D1 offers. Hoop Dreams is IMO the best AAU program in the state. I know there is alot of colleges that will be following Hagen during July. If he keeps playing like he has been don't be surprised if some High Major colleges enter the picture
-
Of course your going to go back to your NKY players . I stick to my comment. There may be players work as hard as Hagen but not harder . U mention the kid from Ryle. That's one game. Can he do it night in and night out?? I'm not knocking any other kids work ethic but I know how hard Hagen has worked at his game. He has went from a virtually unknown player outside of central ky to a top 5 player in the state. There's your true success story. I just like seeing kids getting rewarded for their hard work and dedication, whether it be Hagen or anybody else.
-
I can promise one thing , nobody is going to outwork Hagen. His dedication to improving his game is unmatched. Proof that if you work hard and do things the right way good things will happen. IMO there's not a better player in the state, period. If he played at a bigger school that got better exposure he would be a frontrunner for Mr. BASKETBALL. I still think he has a chance to be in the running next season. How he was left off the All State team last season is beyond me. And it's almost laughable he didn't make the Ky Jr All Star team.
-
Really look forward to seeing this. I am His uncle. When will you release this highlight tape
-
Go to his twitter page @HagenTyler_2015 and there is some highlights from last season. Not very long but there's enough to see what he can do
-
Eli Wright, Ben Moss, and Javeion Eaves have joined Hoop Dreams. 16u team is stacked with talent. July is going to be fun for the Hoop Dreams family
-
It was a toss up between Evan Hall and Mcdonald for me. I gave the nod to Hall bc I have yet to see Mcdonald play in person. Can't give a true assessment until I see a kid play in person. From what I've been told the kid is a heck of a player and he has had a solid spring with the Travelers
-
Perry is a very good player but i just haven't seen him play in person enough to evaluate him and put him in my top 10. Not saying he isn't deserving bc from what little I have seen the kid can play
-
My top 10 in no particular order: Hagen Tyler Cam Justice Evan Hall Ray Spalding James Bolden Aric Holman Jeremiah Tisdale Jaqualis Matlock Jeremiah Bell Dwayne Sutton
-
Boyle Co is not playing at Mercer Co
-
Want to see who people consider the top 10 players in the class of 2015. As of right now, not based on potential.
-
Where is AJ Youngman playing now?? Always heard the Dixon kids were not very good teammates. Only out for what they can get. Dikembe is talented but comes with alot of baggage
