  1. Elkins is erasing everything in the paint. Very active. Smith for East is killing Boyle running off screens. Tyler with 12 and Bell with 11 to lead Boyle.
  2. I would be willing to bet most of these players being mentioned have been held back a year at some point. Butt and Fitzgerald are going to be very good players. Faulkner has the skills and potential to be a great one before he graduates. Sloan and Baby J from Boyle both need to get alot stronger but they have the potential to be very good. I haven't seen the Phillips kid from Lincoln. Looking forward to checking him out
  3. Should be a great game. It's hard to beat Lincoln at home but I'm picking Wayne by 8 or 10. They are the champs until somebody knocks them off
  4. Aric is a nice player with loads of potential and skill for a player 6'9 but he's going to have to add alot of weight and muscle
  5. Great job SHS Future. Very good breakdown of the 12th region. Hope it continues thru the season. I keep saying it, top to bottom I would put the 12th region up against ANY other region in the state.
  6. I can't wait til the REBELS shut this dude up
  7. Sounds like excuses to me. What went on is you went to Rupp and got your butt beat and left with your tail between your legs
  8. I dont see Collier making it through the whole season.
  9. 3 players were sick. Tyler finished with 23 points and 5 rebounds. How did Josiah look?? Ready to get Elkins back. With Robbin's playing the Rebels are going to be a tough team to beat
  10. That big red bird would have been sent home if the refs didn't blow it in last year's regional and ejected the right person from that game. It was clear who initiated everything. I have respect for coach Woods and his program. At Boyle CO we don't go bashing programs behind a computer. We do things with class and character. And we will see who's left standing this year!!! Why don't you do us all a favor and quit worrying about what we are doing at Boyle CO. Obviously we have you worried.
  11. I called this one. Was talking to a buddy the other day and I said people better not sleep on HC even tho Jeremiah Tisdale is out for the year. Isiah had a good summer and can play and they have some good pieces. Plus I'm sure they are out to prove something. Holmes seems to be overrated to me.
  12. No disrespect to Burgin but it wasn't much competition and not really a good game to judge by. Saying that, the Rebels looked good. The intensity they played with on defense was great to see. Bell really put pressure on the PG. If one of the refs wasn't in another world he would have forced numerous 5 second counts. Bell really pushed the tempo and the offense is at another gear this year with him at the point. Tyler had a solid overall game but was deferring to other teammates most of the 2nd half. Didn't play much after halftime. I thought Dario and Nick Settles both played good. Does seem like Dario has a knack for the ball and he can get some points when needed. This team is going to be fun to watch this year. Bell and Tyler look like they have played together their whole lives. Really found each other on the court.
  13. i think I could have dropped 30 with the defense being played in this game
  14. Didn't get to make it but was told that Boyle looked very good and straight got after it on defense. Tyler had 28 and was told he connected with Elkins for a nasty one hand Alley oop. Tyler was said to have looked really good as expected and Jeremiah Bell was all over the floor getting after people. This team has a chance to be very special. Im looking forward to getting the chance to watch the Slone kid in action. From what I hear he has the making of a good ball player. Monday can't come fast enough!!! Go Rebels
  15. that's right. Once a Rebel always a Rebel. Haters gonna hate. Just that much sweeter when we shut them up.
  16. Very excited for this season. This team has a chance to be special!! Bell Is going to bring speed and athleticism that Boyle has never had at the PG position and will be able to match up with any other PG we will face all year . What has stood out to me about Bell from what I have seen this preseason is his leadership. Always talking, always encouraging, always pushing. Love to see that. Him and Hagen in the same backcourt is going to be dynamite. Get your popcorn ready bc they are going to put on a show. You already know what your going to get from Hagen. I wouldn't be suprised to see him up his ppg this year and average close to 30 a game and be one of the leaders in the state in scoring and FT %. He has grown over the off season and added muscle so look for a monster year from him. Colton Elkins has also added muscle over off season and I look for him to have a huge year. There's not a better shot blocker in the state of KY IMO. From what I have heard and saw he has been working some out on the perimeter on his ball skills, passing, and jump shot. Look for Elkins to average a double double this year. Mr. Glue guy Chapmen Bean is what holds this team together. Really love this kid. He plays hard, does all the dirty work, can hit the 3, rebound, and will lock you up on defense. I think Tristan Bell will emerge and have a solid season. He plays hard and can provide some scoring. Keagen Hinkle, Zach Leigh and the Settles kid will be looked upon to provide quality minutes off the bench. If Josiah Robbins doesn't play that will hurt some bc he would have likely been the 5th starter. Like PP has said, this is OUR YEAR!!!! But until somebody knocks off Wayne CO they are still the favorites
  17. What makes you say this?? Where did you get info from. Haven't heard anything about Ronnie going to Bryan Station
  18. This kid has moved around more then any I can remember. What about loyalty?? And I'm sure the KHSAA will rule him eligible bc they always get it right... Lol.. What a joke. Makes about 4 or 5 different schools in the past 4 years. Don't be susprised to see his dad on the bench
  19. I thought his appeal was denied a few weeks ago?? Glad the kid was cleared to play. If Davis actually does play this year along with Dow and the best player nobody talks about Mr And 1 Will Hager then Mercer will be very competitive in 12th region. Going to be a crazy year in the 12th. Vacation days at work are going to be used up before April!!!
  20. Just kind of curious how KHSAA ruled Dow eligible?? Hated it for the kid that he was ruled ineligible but why was it reversed
  21. Congrats to Timmy. LMU is getting a steal. Best pure PG in the state IMO. Can't wait to watch him and Jeremiah Bell go at this year.
  22. Will Hager is ranked way to low. IMO he should be in top 5. Also Colton Elkins should definitely be in the top 10. I feel like he's going to have a breakout year. Wayne CO has to be # 1 and the favorite until somebody knocks them off. Boyle CO is going to be really good along with Lincoln CO. Southwestern will make Some noise. 12th region could have 4 or 5 top 25 teams
