Student Sections not near what they used to be. Main problem (IMO) is cell phones. If you look at the student section during a game, everyone is on their cell phones. Very few paying attention to the game.

Everyone had Notre Dame winning the 9th Region for the girls- guess who got knocked out opening round?? Anything can happen. I know it's unlikely for CovCath to lose but .....on any given day.

Did you go down the AA Highway? Plenty of eating choices in Maysville where you turn into Rt 68, gas stations also. Agree - nice gym!

I don't think Campbell County Middle or St Henry meet criteria for Regionals - District tournament but not Regional For the record- I'm a cash person also. They'll be taking cash at the concession stand but not the door - to me that's just CRAZY?

So it looks like it will come down to George Rogers Clark Vs Bracken County/ Campbell County winner for the final. Looking forward to the Campbell County / Bracken County semi final if it plays out that way.

I believe Jill Planeaux is the name missing above for the JV team from Brossart.

Pretty sure there was an Archibald that played against Brossart last night??? Maybe I heard the wrong name??

Because on a day to day- week to week game schedule the gym would be WAY TOO BIG.

Got to attend this game last night- great game to take in. Final score is a little misleading as this game was back and forth the whole game. I think the final score was the largest margin of separation all night. Cooper was without one of their starters (Liz Freihofer) and that might of been the difference. These 2 teams should meet again and that will be another nail biter no doubt. Not sure who's in charge of scheduling, but I expected a much larger crowd to be at this game but I checked schedules to learn Cooper's boys were playing Ryle at Ryle last night and the student section went to the boys. Not sure why you would do that. Also- shout out to the officiating crew- I thought they did a great job. Let them play and were consistent in the calls they made both ways.

Noticed and agree. I was speaking to those exact people you are speaking of. Many people don't understand scheduling either. Just because you have a competitive team you can't just change a schedule for that year. As @Mustang has said- none expected this season. It was fun.

Campbell- are you kidding. I don't think Brossart will be scheduling a 6A school. Let's be realistic here.
