Hannah Dossett is the best player in the tournament. Off night or not. THE BEST. Absolutely gives it her all every time out. If you gave her a choice she would probably say that she much rather be playing on Friday night. You are a SAD individual!

Congrats to Bearcats on grinding out the win. It was definitely not a pretty game for either team. Congrats to Gallatin on a great year. They have a great group of girls and an outstanding coaching staff. Good luck to the Bearcats on Friday against the Bearcats!!!!

I thought that Dezarn was stating to play very well and had taken over some of the ball handling pretty well for them. She was starting to become a threat on offense and was getting some points at the rim. She is long and athletic and with her in the game that lets Ison do a bit more "roaming" without the ball and get set up on the block. She is hard to handle once you let her get there.

Agreed that rankings are out the window at this point. The only reason I did not put WV at 3 is Dezarn being out. If she was not injured that would have been my 3 with AC or GC at 4/5. Good luck to all the teams. Should be some exciting games.

If you had to rank the teams 1-8 what would they be? Here is mine. Again, unfortunately I have not seen all of these teams play and only going off of grape vine news! I think that 1&2 are given at this time but feel that you could make arguments for any of the next 4 teams at 3 thru 6. 1) SK 2) Shelby 3) Anderson 4) WV 5) Gallatin 6) Trimble 7) Oldham 8) Carroll

I would like Highlands chances on the big floor. Really good guards that have good handles and passing skills. I'll take it. Agree that I would not want to see Ryle across from me. They are playing some pretty good ball right now.

SK has all the pieces to make a run deep in the Region. Size, Good Guards, Deep Bench. I think that they have a very good chance of winning (although is really pains me to admit it :lol2: I love my Bearcats). Depending on the draw there may be a pretty good chance that these 2 teams meet again for a 4th time!

Congrats to WV on a good district tournament. Congrats to Haley Ison and Morgan Simpson being named to the all tourney team. IMO Emma Rogers had a heck of a tournament. May not have scored the most points but defensively was very good. SK holding the ball kept Walton in the game. Walton did not have the horses to run and push the ball with SK last night. To me Beckham is not 100% and with Dezarn out the lower scoring, slower the pace game the better was for Walton. Also, IMO there should have been at least a foul called on the play where the SK player kicked the WV player! I know that this is a district game but if something like that happened during the regular season and was blatantly witnessed by the official which it was there should have been an immediate ejection. Official should be reprimanded for doing nothing. Good luck to both teams next week in Region! I would not want to be a district winner and hear that I have to play the 32nd loser!

Congrats on an outstanding game. Has had a really good year. Glad to see that he has came back from his wrist injury! Seem him at the Walton game when they came there but he was still in his cast. Does Pendleton have the tallest coaching staff in the state? Holy Cow!

I feel sorry for the Region that gets the guys from the 8th! They were absolutely horrible both ways. It is absolutely terrible! #1 . for this kids to have to play. This is basketball. What was played last night was not basketball. #2 for the fans that pay money to come watch a basketball game and then have to see that. SOME OFFICIALS (COLDIRON, MORRIS) NEED TO WORRY MORE ABOUT REFFING THE GAME AND CARE LESS ABOUT PEOPLE LOOKING AT THEM. WE DID NOT COME TO SEE YOU. WE CAME TO WATCH A "BASKETBALL" GAME! Congrats to the Demons on a strong showing. Jump only a Sophomore and Stanley a Freshman. They have a pretty good Freshman group of kids behind those guys and if they grow and get some size could definitely be in the hunt in a couple years!
