Wallace was working the officials all night and got several call on big gains n the 3rd quarter. On a side note I'm 100 percent certain CC should have been credit for a safety right before half. The team that did win deserve to win just throwing my 2 cents in.

He's a really good player. If I had to pick 1 player n the city of Owensoboro he would be my first pick.

Some of em were holds some were questionable at best. CC didn't have many hold called all year. Maybe 4 or 5. That's a good aggressive defensive front who can re direct n a hurray. Rather see a holding call then a hit on the QB..

Congratulations to the BG people good hard fought win. Way to many penalties 167 yards and turnovers to beat BG. County hasn't had a turnover by a RB the last two years but had 3 last night.. Good luck the rest of the way don't see Owensboro beating BG specially since #15 for em is probably out for the year. Do think Covington Catholic will be a tuff out good hard nose team but limited speed. As for the colonels most everybody is back on defense lead my two good young LB'ers. Offense will miss Catlett for sure but Langhi, Long, Trice and Ellis will be back along with 3 starters on the line. Should be stout again and improved.

Christian knows you cant beat BG with tricks and gadgets. It's all about execution and preparation. Play hard have fun and see where that takes you.. Its really is a great opportunity for em..

Should be a great game SW may very well win but I don't see SW scoring 34 and Hoptown only scoring 14... Your right SW will get pressure on the tiger's QB but that's when he's most dangerous making people miss receivers coming off their routes and making plays. Don't know if SW secondary can stay with them when a play breaks down. The tigers defense will come after the QB and have the athletes in the secondary to cover. Really like LB 44 for Hoptown dude plays hard and is all over the field. I imagine SW QB will play a good game he's a winner and will make some plays himself running and throwing. This game could go either way and this County guy is pulling for the tigers.

Been around high school school for over 40 years + I've never seen more impressive kicker than the kid from John Hardin.. Saw him pre game kick 3 60 yards field goals without a tee.. The last one cleared it by 5 yards. The sound of the thump was different from anything I've ever heard of before.. His leg action reminds me of a golfer hitting a 3 iron from 250 out.. That's a bad boy I'm telling you he's something else.

A wise old coach told me 100 years from now the true triple option will be and has been the best offense play ever invented.. I think he was right.. It's also like the wing t you have to work on everyday day and be one smart coach to run it right.

Nobody is going win a shoot out with BG this year. You going to have to win with defense and keep the score in the low 20's.. One will need some luck and have the ball bounce your way. Don't think BG has had more than 1 turnover n a single game this year.. Can't let them take a early unmanageable lead early. Special teams need to play good and maybe get a break in that part of the game.. This is a special team you don't have to play perfect but you have to play real good and don't turn the ball over.. Keep the score close and see how they play late when it's still a game.

On a side not I was told that Catlett passed Chris Gohman of Elizabethtown for 9th all time receiving yards and is closing in on Chris Lofton for 8th..

Graves and Greenwood will be a good one..

I think JH will be ok if they can put this game behind em.. Tuff task to drive 2.5 hours and play a team that is peeking at the right time. Christian had the same problem last year. JH has a ton of athletes with size. Well coached team should regroup and can make a run in 4A. If they can limit the turnovers and improve some on the Oline they will be a handful for most teams in Central Kentucky region. Good luck to you guys

Purple 88 Christian defense made some personnel changes after the BG game and it has made a big difference. Keep a eye on sophomore LB Abren kid #26. Dad was a standout for Campbellsville and uncle played at UK.. He's a difference maker!!

Don't think Greenwood could win a shoot out with Christian. County has played a good schedule and has scored 35 or more 7 out of 9 games.. County Defense is playing really good right now.
