  1. Christmas Story It's a wonderful Life Rudolf the Red Nose Raindeer Miracle on 31st Street
  2. I said this last year and I'll say it again.. Louisville usually does a decent job on the stars but it's the one's you don't think about that kills Louisville. Last year it was Hawkins. Dude didn't make another important shot the rest of the year. From Cederick Jenkins tip in to Rob Lock 8 points and drawing 2 charges late in the game it's always the no name guy who gets us.. So who is going be this year??
  3. 2017 should be an interesting year for the tigers.. They got 3 big time player on offense with Johnso(QB) "Shorty" Cager(WR) and Dillard(RB). Lost some on the offense line which will be a concern for em. They also lost two really good WR not sure who they got to replace those two with but they should have at least some fast bodies to fill in.. I thought the Tigers had one of the best defense in 4A last year. They were very talented in the backfield and could play man and get away with it. Shorty will play both ways and hold down one of the corners position.. Not sure who they have to replace the seniors but won't be like they had this past season.. At LB they lost their best player and he was a handful(44).. Be hard to find someone who can make plays like that kid did. Upfront they lost couple of really good players that had good size and experience. Coach May (DC) is a good coach and will put together a solid unit but they were hit hard in that side of the ball and will be hard press to replace some of those studs he had this year. Coach Clark has put together a good tuff non district schedule.. Probably the hardest schedule since Jones first couple of years at Hoptown. If they can avoid the injury bug and stay positive it should pay off come playoff time.. Hoptown can be really good team and start out 1-3 before district play how will their kids respond? Their not use to losing or playing 4 good teams in a roll. Don't see anybody in their district with exception of maybe Madisonville giving them a challenge. It will come down to FS or Hoptown in 4A WKY. The Tigers will have home field advantage..
  4. Just read it's not true.. Had to restrain a student and rumors are circulating but he's working today from all accounts.
  5. Last go around - KENNETH MAJOR highlights - Hudl Here's his senior year highlights
  6. DB was Kenneth Majors from Christian County.. Going to WKY.. Great kid does play with chip but most good ones do. Keyron Catlett had a good showing also for County.
  7. Darn it... 7 points with 2 D1 linemen and all that skill talent. Weather must have been bad.
  8. I think Hoptown also added Caldwell County not 100% positive but I believe they did.
  9. I know I'm bias but I think Christian County could hang in there with Trinity and give them a game.. Also Christian just didn't just rely on Catlett who had a good game but had 1 WR Long had around 150 yards and another WR Trice had around 90 plus Taylor ran hard.. Don't think they plain on having 6 turnovers and 180 yards in penalties plus a blocked punt. They put more points on the board against BG both times than ST. X did who gave what I heard a good fight for most part against Trinty.. As far as Lex Lafayette BG would beat em and Christian would give them all they want.. Just wasn't overly impress by em.
  10. Didn't say we were still in the playoff chase.. If Louisville would have won that game on the road in 2006 still not sure cards play for the national title that year. As for me I could have lived with the two losses this season but lossing to the cats in a season where we we're in serious discussion of a national playoff is hard to take.. Only thing that can make this better is a win on Dec 21..
  11. Can't believe Louisville lost to a team that was down 13-0 to Austin Pea!! Biggest disappointment in the history of Louisville football.
  12. This is going be a great game.. Wish I could watch it. Familiar with both teams and I have to give the slight edge to Mayfield. One thing about Mayfield that standout to me is they play a tuff out of district schedule against solid teams and wins those games. Mayfield expects to win...
  13. Christian County is the only school outside Louisville to win the 4A title twice (82&84) and still haven't been a team outside Louisville to win the highest classification since moving to the 6 class system. Total dominance by the Louisville schools.
  14. Well I lost that one big time. That was the worest O-line play I've ever seen by a D1 school.. Jumping off sides falling down backwards before the ball snap. Jackson never had a fair chance in this one.. Dont like to this critical of my cards but how about using a TE or back for sometype of max proctection. Use the back to slide protect or anything would have been better that watching Jackson run for his life.
  15. I jumped all over this when I saw the spread.. My big bet of the season.. I bet the line changes by 1 point by kickoff..
  16. Don't know who to pull for here. I grew up n Shelby County and have friends on JH staff.. JH will score some but can they stop the option that Shelby County is known for.. How good is the Rockets throwing game?
  17. Wallace was working the officials all night and got several call on big gains n the 3rd quarter. On a side note I'm 100 percent certain CC should have been credit for a safety right before half. The team that did win deserve to win just throwing my 2 cents in.
  18. He's a really good player. If I had to pick 1 player n the city of Owensoboro he would be my first pick.
  19. Some of em were holds some were questionable at best. CC didn't have many hold called all year. Maybe 4 or 5. That's a good aggressive defensive front who can re direct n a hurray. Rather see a holding call then a hit on the QB..
  20. Congratulations to the BG people good hard fought win. Way to many penalties 167 yards and turnovers to beat BG. County hasn't had a turnover by a RB the last two years but had 3 last night.. Good luck the rest of the way don't see Owensboro beating BG specially since #15 for em is probably out for the year. Do think Covington Catholic will be a tuff out good hard nose team but limited speed. As for the colonels most everybody is back on defense lead my two good young LB'ers. Offense will miss Catlett for sure but Langhi, Long, Trice and Ellis will be back along with 3 starters on the line. Should be stout again and improved.
