It was a close game either way. It doesn't really matter the outcome. They'll both get better.

Sounds like a great game. Why didn't Highlands try a game winning field goal at the end of regulation from chip shot range?

Shouldn't this go in the AAU section rather than cluttering up the school board?

Have they ever not had their hands full with Elder? That's why they schedule the game.

They both won by similar scores against 2 common opponents. Covcath and St. X. Yes i know Highlands St.X was a scrimmage. They both still play Elder, so we will see another comparison. I believe it would be a close game as most Highlands vs Big 4 Ohio games are. I would pick Moeller in a close one with both teams scoring in the 20's. I haven't seen X, Moeller, or Elder, so its all a semi-educated guess.

This game may have been more fun than the 69-0 game a few years ago. I'm sure Highlands will be just as excited if not more for the rematch.

Collins lost bad to Simon Kenton. Simon Kenton is not exactly a power caliber opponent.

I would like to see them shuffle the regional matchup some years. I would like to see what Johnson Central would do with Lexcath or Boyle. Johnson Central is physical and let's just say Lexcath isn't. Of course, that creates some longer bus rides for the SKy and Nky districts which is never a good thing.

Watching the above highlights gives you an appreciation for the job the line did Friday night for Highlands. Those guys just keep getting better. I'm looking forward to watching them the rest of the year. And the defense was all over the field.!!! No one should worry about Highlands defense. Last year was an aberration.

Keep winning Collins. I know Highlands would love to meet up in the finals again for the 3rd straight year if they can both get there.

The same blue team middle schoolers will rout Campbell County by the time all these kids are varsity players. Its been happening for 100 years!

I was told Highlands got sloppy. They felt they had the game in the bag after a qtr. That's a sign of a young team. I was told they had lots of penalties and dropped passes, along with a so so effort. Purely here-say from multiple sources. They have grown up and are improving.

Do you think Highlands showed all their cards or kept it vanilla on both sides of the ball that game? I missed that game. But, after the first qtr domination, Highlands coasted. I'd say Highlands would running clock Campbell County right now.

I'd love to see Boyle come in for the semi finals should Highlands get there. I always root for Boyle against Lexcath. Especially after some of the antics I saw out of a Lexcath lineman at Highlands 2 years ago.

I don't see 3 of the schools mentioned above belonging on the list at the level of 1 of the above mentioned schools. But I get the point you're trying to make.

Good to see Ncc finally accumulated their first positive rushing yard on the season after 5 games! It's good they moved off that net zero. A big shout out to the right side of the offensive line everyone was so critical of last week.

I knew they had during the Wirth era. There was a period of time I lived out of state and didn't see many games. I think Wirth has improved the program myself.

The rival doesn't change.

Covington Catholic over the last few years has tried to be Highlands.(spread, wrist bands, full platoon, speed). They've yet to perfect the system though. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Something like that.

Paducah has played a tough schedule while Henderson has been out touring cupcake factories.

He bought white game pants for the program. They looked much better than those nasty blue ones they've worn my entire life.
