None of these backs play anywhere but small schools. If any go to Georgetown they don't see the field until Zach Harris graduates. Not one of these guys is a Division 1 running back. And theres nothing wrong with playing for small schools.

Highlands Elder is always a great game. Elder has found ways to win close ones multiple times. I expect another close one either way. I hope for a close injury free game.

I'm a Highlands fan and I don't believe either fan base can make an accurate claim that their team controlled possession. If there was an advantage it may be to Highlands, but it is slight. In response to #15 for Highlands being a Bred as an 8th grader, I didn't know NCC had 8th graders attend their school? They don't so she obviously wasn't a Bred. I believe she's a Shields. I can't speak for her, but I doubt she ever seriously considered attending NCC. Either NCC was desperate to fill out their team and used 8th graders, or it was a ploy they thought they could use to get her to attend NCC. Or both.

I felt the game was pretty even. The difference in the game was the Highlands goalie. I was a bit worried when one of the Highlands penalty kicks was blasted way over the goal. That was a bad miss, but the goalie got redemption for Highlands. I don't know names of all the personnel but was impressed with the Highlands goalie and #15 for NCC. If Highlands draws on the same side of the bracket as NDA then that's not an easier road to the finals than Ncc.

I have a lot of family there still. Sometimes I'd rather watch Ncc lose than watch Highlands beat bad teams.

This is a good game for Ncc to schedule to find what they need to work on.

I once sat in a cold rain and watched Mayfield get blown out in the finals by NCC in the mid 2000's. I wish Mayfield had that victory to add to the total. With that 1A being so watered down these days, Mayfield could gain more ground. Does Mayfield stay in 1a or move up next year?

I never met Coach Feggins or his son. But i did enjoy watching Jensen play. I wish him luck. How is he playing this season? Any team could use his talent at receiver.

Covington Catholic is a very average team. Even at full strength. I hope they make it to Ft. Thomas again in November. I wonder if they'll bring as many fans as they did for the September game.

When did TMC become a superior academic school? I checked into TMC and NKU when transferring. Nku had much more to offer academically than Thomas More. It wasn't even close.
