  1. Final last night from Wayne County -- a little surprised this one hasn't received more attention already.
  2. O-Cath LCA/UHA Mayfield Walton Verona My final four -- and I give UHA a MUCH better chance against LCA than the rest of this thread. What an awesome first round matchup, a shame they had to draw each other right out of the gate.
  3. This result makes that dreaded 4th spot up in the air. Wow... Where is the district tourney this year? Is it back at Holy Cross this year?
  4. I had a very good coach in the southern part of the state tell me in October those four "were much the best". I certainly think Cooper, Bryan Station, and Ballard could make a run, but those four seem like the most likely to make the weekend (assuming match ups).
  5. Don't 2nd guess yourself. Those are the correct four.
  6. Okay, here we go... Love Reid Jolly. Man, that guy can do so much, is unselfish, is skilled, and works so hard. He is going to be a PROBLEM next year. Big fan of the Day kid, not only can he shoot it (and he hit a monster three to tie it late), but at about 5'9", he can get in the lane, get fouled, and create for others. Clos can really play as well. Did a nice job on CJ, can shoot it, and was awesome defensively in the last 20 seconds forcing CovCath to win it a different way than CJ. CovCath had a very thin front court tonight, Nick and Davin both did some good things, and Fleek was really good before and after friendly fire sent him to the bench. I could not be happier for him getting the rebound late, gathering himself, and calmly banking in the winner at the horn. Well done, Tyler. CJ is so freaking good. Unselfish, can attack, can defend, and obviously, can really shoot it. If you're a basketball purist, just watch him, on and off the ball, and appreciate what he does. Lastly, was great to see some good friends out on 27. I never miss this game at Campbell County, not only because the game is usually good, but nice to visit with some good friends I don't see often enough. Also, I sat next to a great Camel fan, great dude, all class, funny, and made the game even better. Didn't get his name, but a great representative of Camel faithful. Loved Campbell Co honoring Ruthsatz after his 1,000th point, the ovation was great, but the Camel players on the court clapping is what really stood out. Tremendous show of sportsmanship. I know Campbell Co fell out of the Top 20 this week, but they are really good and I love their chances (along with GRC) to get to Rupp. Thanks for a great evening.
  7. What a game of runs! Does Station have another one in them?
  8. Sounds like several are going: http://bluegrasspreps.com/ky-boys-basketball/-2-scott-county-361253.html
  9. If that comes to fruition I'll be the first to give you a shout-out tonight for nailing it! Aggressive call, to be sure.
  10. The game of the week in Kentucky occurs tonight, on Monday the 22nd, in Lexington! #2 at #3 -- what a showdown in mid-to-late January. Can Bryan Station hold serve at home or are the Cardinals too much, even on the road?
  11. You realize you are leaning all-in on a KID, right? Your posts in this thread are over the top.
  12. Wow, what a game. Thanks for the updates.
  13. However, to be clear, I think / thought Beechwood would win going away.
  14. Wow!!! I really wanted to get to this game, I'm such a big fan of SHDHS' freshmen.
  15. Thanks Nut! Reminder as Nut pointed out -- the update threads need to be separate threads for each game, and the results' threads need to be individual for each game. Thanks. For the record: I expect Beechwood and Newport to each win comfortably (10+ points).
